Q: Hello: Would you recommend buying WSP at the current price? Or some other growth stocks? Objective: capital appreciation and dividends. I'm looking for some capital growth to offset the stocks in the red in my TFSA. In order of unrealized losses from high to low: CXR, AYA, LNR, CRH, BOS, TC, CXI. My losses range from 61% to 21%. Thank you.

Q: What is your exit strategy for cyclical stocks?
I am referring to Magna. It has been noted many times that is it a cyclical stock. Your start cost of MG in the Balanced Equity portfolio is $55.72, You rode it up to $74, and back down to $44 and never seemed to consider selling it along the way. So when do you sell it, or are you "buy and hold"?

Q: What do think of Dycom? Growth looks good and it has, along with everything else, pulled back substantially. S&P has it sell, but I am not sure why, unless its the debt. Is there a Canadian rough equivalent that has a similar specialization in telecommunications infrastructure? Thank-you.
Q: We were wondering if we should sell our 600 shares of RUS in anticipation of further earnings weakness expected in the 4th quarter, bleak future outlook and the possibility of a dividend cut.
We hold WTE and we're punished with 2 unexpected dividend cuts, so the hold strategy did not work here. Should we sell this one too.
Thanks you for your reply.

Q: Further to my recent question on IWO, your reply seemed a little unclear. Do you think the drop in IWO is based on fundamentals? Thanks.

Q: What's your opinion on this company? Thanks - Richard
Q: I am thinking of adding Facebook to my portfolio. What would be a good entry point in this type of market?
Q: Can you comment and give your opinion on Cerf's acquisition of Zedcor Oilfield Rentals. They have suspended their dividend to preserve/assist the balance sheet as part of this acquisition. Your take on this move is most appreciated. Bill Y.
Q: Why is the share price of this company just can't seem to get ahead? In particular whenever the company makes a positive announcement of some sort - like yesterday - share price takes a hit. It has happened too many times to be just a coincident. Are the shorts playing games here and just won't let go? Your insight is much appreciated.
Q: Hi Peter, I have a LIF with $600 that is just going to sit there for the year. It's not much but I'm thinking of buying 300 shares of WEF. I own Northland Power and Power Corp. in it and would prefer to have a third dividend stock rather than adding to one of those. I should be able to hold all three stocks for years. Would this be worth doing and would you have any other suggestion? Thanks.
Q: Hi, I have had this stock for a year, and it seems to be on steady downtrend from around $14. I'am alittle overweight at 7%,would you hang in or reduce to 4-5%.Financials look to be weak right now, your thoughts .
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Hi,
Is Prairie Sky a good investment? The float is small compared to the OSS otherwise it looks pretty good.

Q: What would you expect in terms of annual distribution percentage increase over the longer term for this company? I intend to hold 10 years give or take. They are active acquirers, and they are in a US market that is experiencing rental growth. Thanks.
Q: Hi Guys
Would it be a decent gamble to toss a bit of my mad money in the bomber at .90 cents?

Q: Would you consider cke a buy at this level or is it likely to go under because of the weak oil price? It used to have a good balance sheet with little debt. Is that still the case?It closed at $.46 today & I'm wondering if that is a good entry point or should I run from it? Thanks as always for your help.
Q: Hi Peter and Gang,
I would appreciate your thoughts on BAM.A's significant pull back over the past two months. I have a full position in this stock -- should I ride it out or should I start reducing my position.
Thanks,
Harris

Q: I note the IWO tracking the Russell 2000, is down about 24%. This is a fairly major correction so is it now a buy? Taking a wild guess, how much risk do you see on the downside??
Q: Hello 51 Team,
In anticipation of suggested growth in Infrastructure spending in both Canada and the US, and as well the SP pullback of each due to recent market overreaction, WSP and BIP.UN are looking very attractive right about now. In as much as I would like to eventually own both, I can only chose one at this time. They would be part of an Income oriented portfolio with a leaning towards stocks with a solid upside potential, expressed not only in terms of share price but consistency of dividend increases as well. Can you offer any assistance in making this very difficult choice between the two?
Thank you as always,
Rick
