Q: Good morning
Would appreciate your view on CPH quarterly report today. How would you rate prospects for CPH in comparison to PHM?

Q: Peter and Team:
I am looking to add to a position that is currently down 25% from purchase. Current thoughts on BOS for a 5 year+ hold. What does the balance sheet look like, current p/e, and thoughts on what it will take to get this stock moving again.

Thank you as always. I will be renewing my subscription shortly.

Q: Earlier this year, in response to a question about the usefullness of holding gold, you responded that gold can provide portfolio insurance against inflation and investor fear. Could you expand on this idea that investors turn to gold out of fear. What kind of fear drives this behaviour? What kind of events could cause gold to increase in price, because if it is only inflation, it would seem hyper inflation is a long way off. Is gold as "portfolio insurance" no longer applicable?

Appreciate your insight.

Q: Their stock hasn’t done much in the past 2 years, however their earnings and other financials seem to be pretty solid. Only paying out a small dividend with little growth is there something that I am missing with this stock (e.g. - its time is coming after its solid last report) or would it be beneficial to sell and start putting money into stronger performing companies in that sector (e.g. - A&W). I love what A&W is doing the last year (i.e. food and renovations). Your thoughts on both?

Q: Hi, I'm looking for low-fee ETFs similar to CBO in makeup and yield but priced in USD. Any suggestions? Specifically, I'm looking for somewhere to keep bi-monthly USD cash contributions to a USD TFSA before making equity purchase decisions (I don't like seeing cash sit in an account without getting any yield). My account has relatively low commission fees (none to purchase ETFs) so transaction costs aren't a huge concern. Maybe I'm thinking about this incorrectly, however, and any other suggestions on how to best hold monthly contributions would be appreciated. Much appreciated!

Q: Had a look at this today. Was surpirsied to see a yield just under 6%. I thought it had been marketed on the basis of about a 4% yield. I don't see our interest rates going anywhere for a while. Is this not a buy here? Can they grow dividend at all or is that doubtful?
Thanks
John
