Q: Hi,
Is it time to get back into industrials? or should I wait? If so, can you recommend a couple names in both CDN and U.S. stocks or efts that pay a decent dividend, are large cap, good value and suitable for holding for at least two years.

Q: Since the takeover offer for LSG, has your opinion changed materially from last Nov. I am ahead on LSG now and wonder whether I should take my profit or tender my shares. Harry

Q: I have a LOT of Surge. Bought close to or under $2.00. My thinking was that as oil rises - so will Surge. Oils rising and surge is falling. My wcp acts as I expect it / what am I missing on my logic with surge??

Q: Hi can you please comment on the (potential) money owed to the founders of the company? How likely will this need to be paid and what impact would it have? Would you consider GS a buy right now, or a hold if I presently own it?

Q: Further to the Dutch auction, I am trying to figure out the affect this auction may have on the current and future stock price. When exactly does the company buy the stock? Do they do one big purchase on Apr 15 or buy daily along the way? Will the stock stay between $34 - $38 during the auction period or if the stock goes above $38 does the company end the auction? Finally, by putting a purchase price with a ceiling of $38 is the company saying that is what they think the stock is worth?

Apprecitate your insight.

Q: Do you have any information on this stock? I'm told that there is a lot of growth potential in a market upswing when oil recovers. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Q: Hello everyone;
I need to have fixed (Bond) portion in my portfolio, which currently resides in hi interest savings account. This is primarily because I do not understand effect on bonds by market forces such as interest rates, etc and what optimum term should be. iShare core ETFs seem to make sense. They are as follows: XQB (75% of fixed portion, 8.6 yr avg term), XSQ (15% of fixed portion, 3 yr avg term), XSH (10% of fixed portion, 3 yr avg term). I intend to keep it for long term. Please comment on suitability and timing.

Q: I was falling in love with this company until I saw this in the annual report 2014: "Some raw materials used in production are sourced from a single supplier and the Company is exposed to the same business risks that suppliers may experience." Do you have any idea to what extent this "single supplier" accounts for BioSyent's revenue mix?

Q: Hello Peter,
Stella Jones has pulled back a bit. I was thinking of selling Free hold to add to stella jones. Does this make sense or is it better to keep free hold royalties as it does have a good balance sheet and pays a good dividend. Thanks very much.

Q: Can you please comment on Fiera's latest quarter and prospects going forward? It seems to have some momentum. Would you swap this out for BNS or any other financial?

Q: Good Morning Peter, Ryan, and Team,
Fiera Capital reported this morning and the numbers looked fairly good, at least to me. I have the company in my wife's RRSP account, primarily for its 4% plus dividend yield and future dividend growth. They seem to be growing their AUM quite nicely in difficult markets. Finally the valuation seems inexpensive compared to other Canadian asset managers. I would like your take on the above. Thank you as always for your sage insights. (PS- I just purchased the book "Market Masters" and I thoroughly enjoyed the section devoted to 5i Founder and CEO Peter Hodson. Great interview and wonderful book. I highly recommend it to other 5i subscribers)
