Q: Magna and Linamar are down $25,and $33 in one year. Are things that bad? Are they cheap now? Would you think it is time to start buying a 1 percent position in each since they are good companies anti have no idea where the bottom price is or do these prices look close to a bottom?

Q: Which do you like better for the long term: Dollarama or CCL Industries?
- Concordia Healthcare (CXR)
- Stars Group Inc. (The) (TSGI)
- The Intertain Group Limited Exchangeable Shares (ITX)
Q: Hi there, can you please comment or provide analysis on how CXR, IT, AYA and others within the portfolios would be affected due to the Brexit vote coming up soon, considering revenues from European region and due to FX? I believe Brexit vote may be causing stock price weakness for CXR, maybe? Also, would anyone want to take out CXR before the Brexit vote knowing how volatile Europe would be if England exited? Thanks!
Q: Ron's comment made mention of the fact that a short interest approaching 25% of the float should raise red flags. Can you explain this?

Q: As a follow-up to CXR, I believe the uncertainty of the Brexit vote is also impacting share price, since AMCO is based out of the UK. Word on the street is any offer from Apollo Global Management is depenent on Brexit not going through. We may not see any recovery in share price until after the vote.
Regardless of the above, the uncertainty offers yet another opportunity to acquire CXR shares at a very attractive valuation (considering management offered good guidance at the last earnings call).

Q: Just a follow up on your answer to Neil's question about Concordia.
My theory is that the short interests are killing them. The latest data issued show yet another increase pushing them close to 25% of the float. I believe your opinion was anything around this mark raises red flags.

Q: Hi there
I note you commented on Enghouse's recent earnings, but before the conference call. Just wondering if you listened to it, whether any other information/impressions came out, and how you would feel about buying a bit more at this time. I was thinking of raising my position from 3% to 4% of my portfolio.
Much thanks

Q: Any thoughts on why BAM.A is down so much lately (especially today). BAM.A seems more volatile than it's holdings (BIP, BPY, etc.). Am I correct on this, and if so, can you explain why it is more volatile. Thanks.
Q: Do you have a theory on why CXR is testing its 52 week lows again? It seems extremely cheap and even without a potential buyout, is generating good EPS every quarter. I would like to buy more, but I am already over weight - so I am patiently waiting for it to go back up! Thanks, Neil
Q: Please provide your thoughts on the following announced Friday: Penn West Announces $1.1 Billion In Asset Sales, Including The Sale Of Its Saskatchewan Assets For $975 Million.
I am a long suffering shareholder with a position in a registered plan. What action if any should I take based on this transaction?

Q: Could you give me a break down on the recent filing. How will this impact the overall balance sheet? (Notification according to chapter 9, section 5 and 6 of the Securities Market Act: BlackRock Inc.'s holding in Metso.) Could you also comment on a fair entry point based on the total exposure of this investment. Last... Do you see this affecting the dividend at all? Thank you Jason
Q: I have some US $ sitting in my RRSP account which I am looking to invest. Preservation of capital is important and I am looking into this preferred share etf. Your thoughts please.
Q: Could you please tell me whet the dividend payout ratio is for these two company's?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: what can you tell me about this company
Q: Napec (NPC-T) was a top pick on BNN last week. Although this is not in your data base would you be able to comment on its debt level, insider ownership, earnings and cash flow. At first glance does it seem like a company to put on a watch list. Thanks.
Q: Where do you see the greatest risk to equity and bond investments?
1. High inflation caused by economic growth finally putting to work all the money that was printed by central bank quantitive easing around the world; or,
2. Deflation caused by slow growth due to unfavourable demographics and financial deleveraging by consumers.
What would you recommend as the best defense in each of these scenarios?

Q: Mega Uranium seems to have some good potential especially with its $55 million holding in Nexgen. However it has 290 million outstanding shares. Do you consider this number of shares to be a concern for a company with a market cap of $45 million and could you provide information re the issuing of new shares over the past two or three years. Although there has been recent insider buying the overall insider holdings appear to be quite low. Could you give the actual insider ownership at this point. Also do you have an opinion on the management of this company. Thanks.
Q: My question is companies that will benefit from rising interest rates. I was wondering if you could give me a top three that trades in Canada and a top three that trades in the US...May one ETF too if possible. I understand that rates wont go up over night. I just want to start accumulating now for a 5-7 year hold to wait for rates to rise. I would prefer it if they paid a dividend as well.
Thanks so much
Jimmy

Q: Could I get your opinion of WPX. Followed this for a long time and have a difficult time understanding what is going on. Buying back a lot of shares and directors hold a lot of shares and Belling capital a big holding along with CBC and 5 individuals. Very big Chinese holdings.
Thanks your service is terrific

Q: Are there any companies/organizations in the Artificial Intelligence sector that 5i believes are good long-term investment opportunities; perhaps focusing application to diagnostic medicine. (Not so interested in driver-less cars, but believe that there must be tremendous long-term plays for companies perfecting diagnostic tools, for example.)
Thanks for your excellent investment analysis.
