Q: Do you recommend holding onto the cash resulting from the sale of stocks dropped from the growth portfolio or rebalance and add to those with significant losses; say any from the following: BOS,CXR,DRT,EFN,PEO,PUR or all? thanks again Henry

Q: Thanks for your reply to my previous question, but I never had any thoughts of selling BCE. It is 5% of our holdings and has grown nicely, but I would like to add another telcom. RCI.B and T have disappointed so is there anything in Quebec or eastern Canada worth putting a toe in?
Q: Hello 5i,
You seem to be just a little more positive on Torstar this time around. Unfortunatly i have been an owner of a small amount for a long time. But, i have been thinking of doing some swing trading on it. It seems to have quite large movements in share price in relatively short periods of time. I dont't think i would buy it as a keeper. But, i thought swing trading may work. I have been afraid of bancrupcy, thought. You don' t seem to be too worried about this, though. I was wondering about your thoughts on this strategy?
Thanks

Q: Assuming a well diversified portfolio could you please give us 5 names that, in your opinion, have strong potential at this point. Thanx Robbie
Q: I am puzzled by the market's very negative response to Firan's release of 1st Quarter 2016 results this morning. The results were nothing special - perhaps they missed earlier guidance or expectations in a meaningful way - ?
Thank you,
John
Thank you,
John
Q: I am thinking of selling (MFC) Manulife and switching to (EFN) Element Financial. I would trigger a capital loss and as Manulife seems to have ongoing problems what do you think of this idea or do you have a better idea. I already own RBC and BMO in this area. THANKS
Q: I am about to purchase my first I-Pad. Does 5-I have a mobile app that I will be able to use?
Thanks
Paul
Thanks

Q: Peter:
Today RDM's market cap exceeded $100 million. As a former fund manager will this bring in more institutional investors into this stock and allow it to trade higher multiples?

Q: I sold RCI.B yesterday, after its big drop, and bought Telus. T is gone this morning after it took a big drop. Now my only telcom stock is a 5% weighting in BCE, with a 38% gain. Can you recommend another telcom or should I quit while I'm ahead? Thanks
Q: hi experts;if i sell these debentures now i get 13% if they go to bankruptcy what are the chances i would get more? thanks for the great service. brian
Q: Hi there,
I'm down fairly heavily on this and am wondering if at this point the losses are due to the suspension of the dividend or if there are other warning signs? If so, would you expect it to hang around just over $5 or do you see lots of room to fall in a sinking/sideways market? Finally, buy, sell or hold
Thanks!

Q: It's been a while since you've been asked to comment on this company. What does it look like overall to you ? How about it's debt level ?
Q: AYA stopped offering forward earnings guidance with Mr. Bassov's bid in works. Now that he is no longer with the Co. shouldn't guidance be reinstated?
Q: AEM is up 5.5% today - great! But I see no real compelling reason. Perhaps you can.
Q: I have been riding this one out for a long time. What is your view on its viability and future?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Your recent answer about this company surprisingly failed to make any reference to the the Site C contract which is expected to generate $45 million of EBITDA in 2016. I would have thought this to be relevant.
Q: What are your thoughts on this company ? Does debt look manageable ? Is it a buy ?
Q: I am trying to decide where your sentiments really lie on Ten Peaks coffee. I'm thinking of a possible switch from TPK to BOS, given BOS's recent decline, and its high rating.
In your recent report on Ten Peaks, you gave it a C +. By 5 I standards, a C+ rating denotes "Companies we do not expect much growth from. May pay a dividend we would view as sustainable. Would own for income, needs to be watched."
This doesn't sound very hopeful for TPK.
Is it then, in 5 I terms, on the low end of probability as a growth stock? All along I've been reading this as one which has good potential, but your recent rating makes me think twice.
I've had my eye on BOS for some time, and wondered if now might not be a good time to switch, notwithstanding the very diverse industries in which they lie.
Thank you!

Q: What are your thoughts on this stock now? is there another you prefer in this sector?
Q: It's been over a year since you've looked at VersaPay (v.vpy). In the meanwhile, their move with ARC software is really starting to pay off, with acceptance/expansion to new customers and end-users developing even faster than the company itself had estimated just 3 months ago. What's your take?
