Q: Hello Peter and the 5i team.

I am considering adding a new name to gold equities currently held (AEM, PG, RIC, DGC, YRI and OR).

What is your near term and long term outlook for NGD?

Aside from the names mentioned above, are there any other intermediate size North American focused gold stocks that you would prefer and would you please rate them in your order of preference.

And thanks for another informative and unbiased presentation of your ideas on Market Call!

Q: Can you provide an updated assessment on SunLife (SLF)given recent results? I am looking to invest new money in blue chip dividend payor for son's TFSA account and also considering telcom (BCE) as an alternative. Should I go with SLF for now given the recent run up in BCE stock price? Thanks again. John C

Q: Corning GLW.us has recently been doing better, share-price wise. The company looks undervalued on fundamentals. Notwithstanding the apparently sound financials, many of the reports from analysts are negative, lukewarm at best. (Goldman’s has GLW has a conviction buy; and the analytics shop Sabrient has it as a buy. GLW also pays a good dividend, unlike the US Gov.

Am I missing something? If yes, is it material enough that you suggest a sell?
I have a question about 646

Q: Hi Gang, I have a good number of shares of some blue chip dividend payers such as BCE and RY and wanted to know about some insurance with buying puts. When these correct I feel some pain but do not want to sell as to avoid capital gains plus they pay a nice dividend, just want to sleep better and want to smooth out the volatility, also was thinking of doing the same thing with some index ETF's , is there an essay or an explanation on your web site.

Thanks and keep up the great work.

Q: Peter, I have weighting of 20% in Tech (which I want to keep) and it is split evenly between CSU, DSG, ESL and ZQQ. Right now there appears to be more interest in KXS and OTC vs. ESL or DSG. I have a 135% gain in ESL in my taxable account. What do professional do when faced with this? Sell a great company (ESL); pay taxes and buy a faster growing company that investors like at the current time, or keep the great company?
