Q: For those of us who bought CXR above 60$/share, selling here won't recover much cash and so I wonder, is there a point selling? What if like WIN or PHM, we sell near the bottom? The guidance is reduced, but some of this was out of their control (currency due to Brexit). If there was a fraud, yes, I agree, but EPS is 3.2% down and revenue revised by 18%. Not good, but they aren't the only ones with troubles (Brystol-Meyers and Gildan). At least they are doing something about it: laying off the CFO and cutting the (small) dividend.

Q: Pure Multi Family REIT declared Q2 results which looked pretty good. Also disposed off a property and bought an AA property (as per announcement yesterday). They are doing all the right things. They have lagged Milestone Apartments REIT which has taken off in the last month or two.

What is your opinion on Pure Family REIT ? You had mentioned it was expensive some time back compared to MST.UN. Does this opinion still stand ?

and out of the three companies which would you prefer for income and some growth. Thank You.

Q: Part of the due diligence I do when looking at a company is to look at their web sites. Simple I know, but it can give important clues, i.e. is it there just to promote the stock?, who are their customers, what are their actual products?

When I looked at BOS, their product line seems very small, and doesn't seem to offer anything unique or proprietary. Am I missing something with this company?

Q: SECTOR question regarding DH Corp.

I noticed that you listed DH Corp under the sector (Industrial) in your most recent list of covered stocks.

I own the stock was always was under the impression it was a Technology sector stock.

When I think industrial I think GE etc.

Is this an misprint or should I now think of DH as a INDUSTRIAL sector company when I allocate my portfolio?

Thank you very much.

Q: Trying to think of away to avoid two mistake made recently, or at least increase odds of avoiding in future.

PHM purchased and then up over 100% in few weeks/months, then down to minus 30%-50% range few weeks/months later.

CXR purchased and then up over 70% in few weeks, then down to minus 30%-50% range in a few more months.

Gross losses manageable as portfolio weighting was responsible.

PHM I guess fundamentals did not justify the increase and was popular stock at time is best thought I can think of and maybe a soft sell signal?

CXR seemed to go up on short covering, then down dramatically, then slightly back up on takeover rumours. No idea what to have done differently on this one. Feel like the CEO and CFO just dishonest on it.

Ideas? Lessons?
