Q: Hi,

I am a income investor so looking for dividends. My portfolio currently contains banks, pipelines, utilities, and telco's. I am thinking I should add some real estate to my portfolio and i was looking at MST.UN and/or CUF.UN-T. What are your thoughts on these two company's? Are there other real estate investment trusts you prefer?

Thanks,
Eileen

Q: NYX has hit new 52 week lows today and has gone down pretty much daily for the last 2+ weeks. I still like its potential and I feel its been beaten down with Amaya and Intertain.I think the earnings release could help correct this negative momentum but its not until later November. There are no further support levels to base an exit on if it keeps dropping. So my question is do you see a point where NYX is beyond help and I should cut my losses? My fear is by the time we get to the earnings release the share price will be at $1.

Q: I have been following and learning about this sector.

Canopy Growth with the announcement of rapper Snoop Dog's involvement was part of the reason for CGC's price rise a few weeks ago. CGC-TSX is listed on the TSX in Canada and on the U.S. as TWMJF-OTC.

Per Health Canada's website there are 36 Marijuana licensed companies in Canada. Not all are licensed to sell as some can only produce, and not all are public companies.

CGC-tsx, TWMJF-OTC, Canopy Growth is the 1st such company in the G7 countries to have a signed agreement to provide the product to Germany for it patients. It has positive revenue.

Alaska very recently approved recreational use for cannabis.

There has been a lot of $$ made recently for those so inclined and astute and informed. I recommend none of the companies, as everyone makes their own choices.

Some public companies:

CGC-tsx
OGI-tsxv
APH-TSXV
CANN and equipment & media surlier
FITX
PHOT
EDXC
EAPH
ENRT
FSPM

Best of luck. Lets make some $$$$.

Q: I play the market such that if stocks are not doing well for a couple of months I get rid of them. I can always buy them back later. Here are three Canadian stocks that fit that criteria. ADW.A, KXS and CZO. Do you see them continuing the same pattern for the next month or so? U.S wise I know you do not deal with that market, but OCLR dropped about 10% a month ago. I got in 3 or 4 days ago, and it dropped another 8%. I have read through Seeking Alpha that the conductor space that they are in could be the reason. What is your opinion on this. Dennis

Q: Being a relatively young investor in my late 20s I think I should be allocating more of my portfolio to high quality growth stocks. (I likely have too much allocated to blue chip dividend cos) I have owned ATD.B, CSU and SJ for some time and was wondering if you could suggest some other similar consistent growth cos to look into?

Q: Hi all - I need an energy company to add to my portfolio. I have held off buying a name in the oil/gas/pipeline sector as I've been expecting the cycle to take a number of years for the demand and supply sides to lose inertia and start moving in the opposite directions. I don't think we're there yet (US crude draw-down reports are suspiciously counter to other indicators out there), but I'm thinking the down-side risk is for companies that will survive is pretty low at least.

Which two companies would you recommend at this time?

Thx very much.
