Q: Hi I have a limited amount of money to use for stocks, that pay a dividend. In other words what stock would I pick for dividend's , if I only had $50000. I am looking for stocks prices between $10. and $25. I want to maximize my $50000. to receive the most paying dividend. thanks

If I want to buy puts to protect $1.5 million in S&P500 Index fund against a 10% decline in the market in the next 6 months how many SPY options do I need and how much do I have to fork out. Does it matter where your broker is? That is do the options listed on TD have the same price as those listed on Scotia.
Let’s say the expiration date is September 15, 2017.

Q: I hold TNC and think another bid is very remote. When is the deal scheduled to close and holders of shares get their money? If I don't sell and wait for the deal to close, do I need to do anything or will the shares automatically be sold to PayPal and the cash deposited in my account?

Q: I've held Cynosure (CYNO) for a few years and it recently received an all cash offer for $66 a share; however, now some law firm has come out questioning "whether the Company’s Board of Directors failed to satisfy their duties to shareholders, including whether the Board adequately pursued alternatives to the acquisition and whether the Board obtained the best price possible for the Company’s shares of common stock."
The stock went has high as $66.65 on the news but is currently hovering just above $66.
In these types of situations does this often result in a higher offer? I am tempted to hold and see what happens if there is essentially no risk but I would also like to sell now to get the cash. What would you do?

I think the idea of Intertain listing on the London exchange was to unlock shareholder value. Is that because their customers are predominantly found in Europe or the retail market more open to this type of business ? I don't think it has made much difference yet - I'm trying to determine the catalysts here.
