Q: I am interested in your views on why the stock market suddenly became so enthusiastic about Trump when it was continuously going down a couple of weeks ago when it appeared that he would win. In the middle of the night on Nov 8th, the Dow futures were way down as expected and then miraculously they rebounded in the morning. Should we expect this to last?

Q: Hi guys,

I was looking at Free Cash Flow Yield as a metric to evaluate companies that I want to invest in. Do you find this metric useful? Also, what would be considered a good free cash flow yield? I've heard people look at companies with 10% free cash flow yield, but that seems like it would be hard to find. Some of the companies in my portfolio like Disney and Stella Jones seem to have closer to 5% free cash flow yield. I know Disney has been investing heavily in their parks, which has lowered their FCF yield in the short-term.

Thanks,
Jason

Q: Hi, Parkland Fuel stock continues to get pounded every day since its recent earnings release, losing over 10% of its value. It was mentioned as a baby Alimentation Couche Tard. Today, ATD.b stock price also showed considerable weakness. I have just started to wonder if there is a rotation out of these consumer names which have done well in past. And, if so, do you see this trend persisting, since money seems to be moving into banks, industrials and energy/material stocks. I have a small position in ATD.b but just doubled my PKI holding to overweight and feel a little concerned. Thanks for your valued advice.

Q: In many of the ETFs that track US healthcare, some of the sub-sectors took a hit yesterday while others outperformed. Is it too early to tell what this portends? Given the new U.S. admin, I’d be grateful if you could share your thoughts on your favourites in this space, especially among the broadly diversified ones. Thanks very much.

Q: There has been a significant drop in the share price (~20%) over the last month which I can't understand from the quarterly results. Occupancy remains very high and all metrics appear good to my untrained high except for net income and comprehensive income over the last 3 months, but good over 9 months. Can you shed some light for me please?
