Q: Hi all at 5i! I am happily looking at a tidy profit with my Uniselect Stock . I am up about $20K on the stock. Here's the problem. Part of me wants to take the money and run....the other part of me says leave it alone and let it grow more. My question to you would be where do you foresee this stock going? Is it a good one to hold a while longer given its statistics and where the economy maybe headed, or should I make out like a bandit and cash her in? I don't need the money right now. Thank you for all you do for us. Regards, Tamara

Q: Hi 5i
I received some Dell Tech shares from the EMC/Dell takeover. Any thoughts on selling, keeping or buying more? It is about 1% of port.
Thanks

Q: Hi,
I hold the above REITs in my RRSP account. What do you think of them? I don't really want to hold more than 3 but do you think that I should consider a change?
Thanks, Bryn

Q: Hello 5i,
I realize MedX Health is a tiny company but their technology seems to have a lot of promise. I'd appreciate your usual calm unbiased assessment.
Thanks

Q: I own Johnson Controls and they have just merged with another company in Ireland (tyco). There is a withholding tax of 15% on the disposition of the shares, a non residence tax, which exceeds my gain. What is this, and is this right.
Q: I have been looking at MG for awhile and was wondering why the stock has fallen over the past 1.5 years? The dividend payout has risen over the past 4 years and they have very low dept. The returns on asset, equity, and capital are also consistently high over the past 5 years.
Is this simply investors being tired or is there something else, and would it be a good time to enter?
Thank You,
Andrew

Q: Could I get your thoughts on NYX Gaming for a high risk/high growth company to hold long term (3+ years).
Q: Which of these tech stocks would you select for growth right now?
Q: Hi 5i,
I have a general questions about how trades are executed on an exchange. When there are multiple bids for the same stock, is there an order on which ones get executed first? Is it first in first out or do traders get to pick and choose? Is it the same with sells? Thanks.

Q: Over the past few years I have purposely avoided the materials and energy sectors. By doing so I outperformed the market from 2012 to 2015. This year the market is outperforming my portfolio handily largely due to large increases in these sectors. Could you provide 3 companies in each sector that I may consider purchasing for a long term hold. I am interested in companies that pay a dividend and have some opportunity for capital appreciation.
Q: I was wondering how the distribution works, I noticed looking at history that it pays dividends monthly but some months it doesn't pay anything at all.
Q: I have just received 78,270 common shares in exchange for my $10,000 C.V.- a small portion of my diversified portfolio. In your opinion are these worth holding, or are they headed for oblivion?
Q: Could you please give me your top 4 industrial companies. I own WSP, STN and BDI in Canada. HON and TRN in US. I'm a little torn on weather to add to BDI and/or TRN. But your top 4 may be a good place to start in making my decision. Thanks for your help.
Q: SPB just announced the suspension of its DRIP plan. What is rationale for any company, like SPB here, to do so?
I always thought a DRIP plan is a good way for a company to conserve/manage its cash flow while the additional share dilution is really at the expense of its existing shareholder base. Hence it is to a company's advantage to have a DRIP.
What is your view on the pros and cons of a DRIP? Please enlighten us. Thanks.

Q: Time to sell? I dont see a benefit in holding. Thanks
Q: Are these stocks at a good entry point and if could only buy one now which one would you buy first?
Q: What sector would you classify SJ?
Q: Hey 5i team, this is my first question here. I have recently finished school, and have opened a TFSA. I am looking to start a portfolio, and am willing to hold investments for up to five years. I was looking into the energy sector, and like CPG, and CVE (for growth potential), and VET (for their dividend). Would you recommend one over the other (or anything else), or would you recommend averaging between the three?
Thanks,
Mark
