Q: There have been questions asked about what Buffet would probably buy in Canada and 5i said that it would probably be in the energy sector. I wonder whether you would have an idea whether it might be in the oil side or the natural gas side? What do you think would be a likely target for him?

Q: I subscribe to your Portfolio Tracking and Analysis service and would like to suggest adding a feature to help clients such as myself who manage multiple accounts. (In my case, I manage registered and cash accounts for both myself and my husband,) It would be immensely useful to be able to track performance over time and compare it to the TSX, S&P and NASDAQ - both on an individual account basis and on a total account basis. Is this something 5i might be open to providing?

Q: TD launched a series of Target Maturity Bond ETFs that terminate in Nov of each given year (e.g. TBCF winds up in Nov 2026)
Normally, for Fixed Income, an investor could:
- own individual bonds with exact payment/maturity certainty but very laborious
- own traditional bond ETFs: very easy, but perpetually renewing maturities and mysterious trading prices---often downward, it seems
However these new ETFs seem to offer the best of both worlds.
MER is 0.20 vs XBB 0.10 which isn’t bad.
By TD’s offering chart (May 2), TBCF shows a Yield to Maturity (net of fees) of 4.87%.
Seems like a lot to like here for the individual investor, in Fixed Income.
As a Portfolio Analytics subscriber, the Asset Allocator is unhappy with my dearth of Fixed Income holdings!

Q: What is your opinion of the Buffalo-based Rand Capital Corp.? There doesn't seem to be any mention of this firm in your database or, to be fair, in Stockchart's database, either.
Best regards,
David

Q: Hi, What are your thoughts on Nextracker earnings and outlook ? CC is scheduled for 5 PM. We took a starter 1% position, last week, after reviewing several favorable comments from 5i team. What would you recommend going forward - Add to the position gradually, starting, Tomorrow Or, wait for stock to settle Or, wait for another quarter ? Also, would appreciate decent price levels to accumulate.

Thank You
