Q: I started out with I question but find I actually may have 2 or more.

I am considering replacing CRQ & CDZ in 1 account,
and replacing cdz with HEW in another account. This would account for all my TSX ETF exposure.

The questions are :
1) would you view this as a viable move
2) I noticed that HEW is a thin trader. Will I be beaten
up badly if i try to buy several hundred shares of HEW
at one time.
3) Is there an approach to buying this type of eTF (thin trader)
4) I noticed when I looked up CDZ there is a CDZ.A
and CRQ has a CRQ.A
Could you please tell me the difference in the A versions
of the ETF's .
That's it for this "question".

Thanks in advance

Q: When I go to the "ask a question" box there is always the start of someone elses question? Please fix.
To my question on TOY; the drop today of nearly 10% has occurred with only 100+/-unit bids & trades this AM at 6-8500 - whereas daily volume is generally around 50-60,000 trades. Just curious & would appreciate your comments. Thank you.

Q: can you please comment on the psychology of people selling their winners like kinaxis, shopify, facebook, google , couche tard , even spinmaster rather than selling their losers to rotate into oil and gas stocks.
i just never have been able to understand that the investor cannot accept taking a loss so they keep their losers hoping to get back to even and sell their winners. dave

Q: My research shows Absolute having a very high debt level, yet it remains one of your favorites and is in the income portfolio. Usually you seem to be more risk averse. What am I missing?
Thanks, len

Q: I have a question about 1714,Hi,I would like to diversify out of Canada with a etf. If I bought VGG in my cash account, would I have to fill out a U.S. Tax form,or would it be included in my Canadian tax return? I file my own taxes and not interested in filing U.S.taxes as well.
Would Vgg be good for income 3-4% and a little growth or could you recommend something.
Thanks,Brad

Q: The safest of financials have rallied a lot (big banks). I assume that investors will start going into the riskier financials. What do you think about buying a 1/2 position in a broker? Gluskin Sheff pays a 5% dividend, however there is that lawsuit overhang, so, I'm tilting towards Canacord Genuity. With the strength in the materials sector, do you expect $CF to start getting more contracts from that industry? I believe that's the core of their business? I could wait a quarter or two, but those stocks move very fast and my error in the past has been buying when everyone likes a stock (2014), rather than the other way around (summer 2016). Trying to change this, but as safely as possible. Thank you!
