Q: Hello 5i Team, I would like your views on averaging up on stocks. I was reading in your blog the article about Averaging up on a stock. Yet I hear many professional say to take some off the table when you have some winners. Why not keep your winners and avg up instead? I like to wait for a 10% gain from my last purchase price and see some momentum before I avg up. Can I get your criteria or trigger point before you avg up on stock. Is your criteria different for a blue chip such as a bank than a growth stock such as a tech company?
Thanks for your service

Q: Confused on what you mean held for income, you replied to Tabho that mrg.un was doing well and to held for income, does this mean you expect little in growth? I have a large portfolio and try to get a 10% return per year, I have only held the above REIT'S as my REIT holdings over the past couple of years and have to say they have been acting more like growth stocks, and outperforming many of your growth picks which i own. So can you say that a plus 30% return per year and can also be an income and a growth stock. Sorry for the RANT!

GREAT SERVICE! THANKS AGAIN

Q: Hi Team, I echo the others to say thanks re: TNC, I have doubled my investment. I will replace with 2 different holdings and would like something of the same risk dynamic. In my small/cap higher risk category, I own PHO and a half position of DBO (down 35%). I also own PLI and LTE. I am up on everything except DBO. You have suggested ITC, which I don't yet own yet, is there another holding that you could suggest that would fit the description of a good quality company with growth potential, although higher risk? Should I add the other half position of DBO? Thanks as always.
