Q: This company pays a nice dividend and apparently provides short term mortgage financing to corporations. It seems like a "Steady-Eddie" holder of share value since 2012. I'd like to reduce equity risk in a portion of my portfolio, not add to my money market holdings and collect the 8%. Does this equity likely achieve those goals, does the dividend seem secure, has it ever been curtailed, does it's business model carry a higher degree or lower degree of risk in your view? Many thanks for providing your thesis on this one.

Q: I would appreciate your comments regarding their earnings release and the dividend cut. The market did not like the cut in dividend, but I am wondering as to whether this might at some point be a buy. Their payout ratio seemed low for a reit, even with a very high dividend. If the eliminated dividend reduces debt, would they also be a takeover target for a larger reit/

Q: I've been trying to find a Canadian based ETF that includes Canadian "growth companies" to no avail. There's a small cap one (XCS I believe) with volume that is too low for me and isn't really growth oriented in any event. Are you aware of anything that is similar in structure to your own growth portfolio (ignoring mutual funds which are way too greedy fee wise for my liking)?

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and Team,

In order to keep the real estate sector balance more or less the same, would you endorse a sale of TCN to use the proceeds to purchase more DIR.UN (which we already hold in this investment account) ? TCN has been a frustrating stock, but I believe that DIR.UN has more upside. Alternatively, are there other stocks in the same sector that you would suggest instead of DIR.UN?

Thanks as always for the pertinent guidance.

Q: Good morning 5i team, MKSI seems well positioned to participate in our world of Internet of Things, AI and miniaturization, with chips in high demand. The Atotech acquisition added significant debt just as rates started rising. MKSI has disappointed and is down significantly. Geopolitics and a cyber attack don't help. I would appreciate your assessment of management and the company's prospects. Would you recommend selling it to generate a tax loss? Thank you. Edward
