Q: I have been following this company for the last six months. I'm putting some faith in the fact that Keith Neumeyer (FR,FM) should know how to develop the assets. I like the fact that they picked up assets in a depressed market, and sell or strike production deal when the commodity is higher and sit on it in the meantime. However, like storage wars no one really knows what's behind garage door or in this case under the ground. To that end the press release of December 1st speaks to drilling results of the various projects being released in early 2017. My question is: do they not have an obligation to release material findings as soon as they have it? My other question is on the strong volume last Friday of 50 Million shares being traded, about 30x the average daily volume. Does that indicate anything? Would a large buyer normally average in?

Q: MST.UN is mentioned often on the BNN Market Call Q&A sessions [excellent info show].
Good #'s and $'s, good prospects esp. with Trump/Perry and the pendingTexas oil boom.
My Q is about the dividend payout. What are the tax implications re CRA reporting and showing for tax year. Is the payout in US $? If so, the purchase exchange is offset by the falling Cdn $, the rising US$ and the creation of a US account for future US equity purchases. How is the future sale etc. treated by CRA?. I realize you are not tax people but I'm sure these are fundamental questions by novices. Thank you.

Q: We all know that interest rates will be going up, and these guests on BNN poo poo reits as an investment, and than try to explain how there picks down 60 & 70 % may eventually come back for there investors if they wait long enough. The way i see it, if a reit has good management they will do well going forward. In Canada, Car.un, they are full, in the USA the ones are around 95% full. More and more people in the future will be forced to live in an apartment, with poor wage growth, more expenses, they will never qualify for a mortgage. What do you think, am i not seeing the real picture here, high quality Reits should be held even a rising rate time?

Q: I am wondering if 5i is considering an update of your past report on companies that could be poised for a strong bounce after tax loss selling? Members would likely be very appreciative of a re-ranking of tax loss bounce candidates or new companies that have fallen more recently and could be ready to recover somewhat. A special report on the 10 best candidates for a January bounce or something like that. Might that be possible?

Q: Merry Christmas folks. Cheers to a great year with a lot of help from the excellent work done by yourselves.
I have over the past two years divested myself of all oil and gas save a small piece of RDS.A
While I don't see a large recovery for at least another, and then a slow climb at best, for oil, I am thinking maybe it is time to start thinking about a piece of a dividend paying, probably service company sometime.
Thoughts?
Cheers, safe travels and lots of smiles this holiday season

Q: So, PTG just did a share consolidation. If I have this right, in the process they whacked their dividend by about 75%! Am I correct in this? I did not find anything on the net adding this rather pertinent piece of information- if I am correct.

Does any of this suggest much better performance or should I just get rid of it .... and buy SHOP?

Thanks. And once again .... very Merry Christmas to the 5I Team.

BTW- in typical classy 5i style I admire your initiative with the year end questionnaire.

No wonder 5i is So Great!!!
