Q: Hi 5i,
I have a pretty balanced RRSP with these stocks and FUND. I am only up with the FUND and BEP.UN. I have about $10, 000 to add to the mix. Should I buy in to any of the losing stocks, add a new one or wait and see . Possibly ranking the "losers" might help me.

Q: Hi,
I would like to own amazon. Do you think it will be negatively affected by nafta / potential trade issues? With the volatility in the markets I am thinking about putting in a stink bid before going away on holiday for a couple weeks. I have enough enough money for 4 shares. I was thinking about a bid for 2 shares at around $1350 and a second bid around $1200. Does this sound reasonable? different numbers? Bad idea?

Q: With President Trump wanting tariffs on Steel & Aluminum this will increase cost of goods in the USA much like tariffs on Lumber increases the cost of building housing in the USA. Would this lead to a lower US Dollar and benefit he price of Gold ? What golds do you recommend ? RAK

Q: Hey 5i,
My question is about what kind of upside remains in CRH after its bounce off the bottom? Any idea of a target price and is it even possible to reach the high prices of the past?
That said AltaGas has tanked and am wondering if I am better served selling CRH and getting some ALA. do you think there is big upside there? And they are going to more utility then pipeline after the acquisition? Thanks

Q: TD allows you to have a TFSA in both Canadian and US dollars. If I hold a Canadian company that trades in the United States in the US TFSA is there a withholding tax on the dividend? Would it make a difference if the Canadian company pays the dividend in Canadian or US dollars. For example, Royal Bank pays in Canadian dollars but trades in New York and Bep.un also trades in New York but pays its dividend in US dollars.also, would you recommend holding Canadian companies in a US TFSA or should one strickly hold American companies.

Q: I don't have a good feeling about this market. It seems very finicky. In the last month I've lost about half of last years gains. I got out of the pot stocks at the right time and did well, but aside from that, everything else is going bust except for Reliq Health. I'm tempted to sell everything and wait. The dividends don't help when the market is like this. I'm losing thousands per day. Do you have any sage advice when this kind of panic sets in? I only started investing a year ago so I am not used to this constant crash scenario...

Q: Hi, do you see anything alarming in BOX's recent release?
The market has shaved close to 20% off the stock price today. Would this be a good time to take an initial position (I generally buy in 1/3's for initial positions), assuming it is still a good representative in the cloud space.
I have reviewed the prior questions on this company and it was deemed as favourable in recent comments wrt to the cloud companies.

Q: I have too many question to ever use them up, so please consider this three separate queries. I have a high risk tolerance and follow my portfolio extremely closely. Technology is one of the few sectors performing well recently and I would like your opinion on whether these would be investments or gambles. Are any of these worth a full position (5%) or a half position. Or are there ideas you currently like better.
