Q: The Ukraine Recovery Conference happening in Berlin had me wondering how someone might be able to participate in reconstruction as an investor, beyond a Ukraine-specific ETF.
This of course assumes a Russian defeat and (hopefully) longer term stability.

Q: Good morning,
I currently own a number of different energy stocks of which most are in the OIL sector. In this current investment environment, the Gas sector seems to offer a better risk reward ratio and I would like to better balance my Oil/Gas stock split.
Question 1. Do you agree that Natural Gas stocks currently offer a better potential return than OIL stocks over the next few years?
Question 2. If so, which of the these OIL stocks would you replace with Natural Gas stocks?
Question 3. Which Natural Gas stocks are currently your best ideas?
Thank you for your sage advice.

Q: Would this be a good time to sell TD because of there US problems and buy RY for long term dividends and safety?
Q: JUst getting back to your answer yesterday about why NA dropped $6 on June 11. Not sure I agree with your assessment that it has nothing to do with the announcement of purchase of CWB. If CWB is NOT the culprit than what is please?
Q: Could you provide your opinion of Magna vs Linamar?
Historically MG seemed in the lead and had a better dividend. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine - their investments in Russia were blamed for non-performance.
Also, since then LNR seems to be doing substantially better signifying the sector is doing ok.
Has MG lost its MOJO, had its day and becoming a value trap? (all cash flow going towards dividends, taking on debt and eroding stock price).
Thank you

Q: My TFSA is comprised of EIF (up), WELL ( down) and LMN ( up ) in equal amounts and is 4 % of my total ( cash and RRIF ) portfolios. I am not afraid of risk in my TFSA. I am looking at replacing EIF with HTA with the eventual goal of having HTA as my sole RRIF holding. I hold HTA
(5%) and EIF (2%) in my other portfolios. I like HTA for the combination of tech with high income. EIF has been good to me over the years but has been in decline for quite some time. Has something fundamental changed with this company ? HTA would be my only tech holding amongst my portfolios being almost 10% of value. Does this approach make sense?
Thanks. Derek

Q: Hi 5i
EQB up today, is this related to the national bank CWB deal announcement?
If so where does it go from here? Possible takeover target?
Would you continue to be buyers of EQB at this price?
Thx

Q: Hi there what’s your thoughts on all the announcements by O yesterday?
Is it too late to buy or do you see a good run up in the coming few years?
Thanks!

Q: CELH continues to decline. I added once on the way down. Would it be worth while to add one more time to get too a full position?
Q: Just sold some Apple stock for two reasons. One, because the position was too large and two my potion in high tech stocks is also too high.
Need to redeploy the funds to healthcare I’m thinking of NVO or LLY.
What would you recommend and an entry point as well as the reason for the choice.
Thanks to the 5i team

Q: Hi Peter, now that the split is done, what would be a good entry point for NVDA. Thanks
Q: Hi,
Thinking of consolidating two smaller positions into one. Can you give me your preference between Celestica and Converge for a three-year hold, with a brief rationale. Thanks!

Q: With the sweet run Nvidia has had, it is getting to be a pretty major chunk of my portfolio and I need to start trimming soon.
With the current momentum and the increased appeal to retail investors after the split, any thoughts on when to trim / when this run will start to ease off?
Thanks,
Jim

Q: I need to find a place to park a large amount of cash for the next 6 months - 1 year. the choices are GIC, CBIL, and HISA/CASH.TO.
I have looked to GIC and dislike it because the money is locked in for at least 1 year.
What are the risk associated with CBIL and HISA/CASH.TO. Is there risk of the holding company (Global X in this case) defaulting the money?

Q: When you peer into your crystal ball what sector do you see as out performing in the coming 12 months? And which US trading ETF best captures this incredible growth? (Just your best guess…no recriminations if you are off).
Thanks!

Q: 1. There has been a lot of insider selling the last few months, and their Q3 sales have missed expectations. Any concerns about buying ATD now?
2. Short term assets do not cover both short term liabilities or long term liabilities. Any concern about buying ATD now?
