Q: Peter; In the Globe this weekend there was an article about low volatility foreign etf's . One was the ishares Edge MSCI Min. Volatility Gloal ETF. It looked interesting so I did some research and found the symbol XMY. But if I read the info correct it looks like you couldn't really buy or sell any reasonable size. Can you comment on this etf and why experts recommend such untradeable units. Thanks. Rod

Q: Gentlemen,

As you know I have $100,000 face value of the the NFI Convertible Debenture that is now selling at approx $400.

Maturity is June 30, 2017. I am trying to figure out what price to sell them at, given that the stock is selling in Canadian funds and the bonds are price in US funds.

The stock converts at 100 shares per $000 bond, but I am confused by the currency.

To figure out the price that I offer these debentures for sale, do I simply multiply the stock price X's 100 X's the currency exchange rate of 1.37 and divide by 10 to get the price per $100 face value?

The conversion info is here:

As you know this is a large trade for me and I don't want to screw up.

Thanks

Sheldon

Q: EFN:
Do you see anything that would explain share fluctuations last couple of days? Is this someone establishing a position in the stock?

SHOP:
Can you compare current institutional position in the stock to historical data? Would that account for the meteoric rise of the stock?

Q: With today's carnage on Bad and last weeks HCG and the fact that it is done from the States makes it obvious that shorting on the Canadian side is a lot easier and as you say without regulatory control. What makes it different in the States and why is it not here?

Q: Hi 5i Team - Given the speed of change in the digital world and google being a big part of it now and likely in the future would you buy in now or wait for a dip and do you think one in this sector will happen within the next couple of years? If you like another company better than GOOG what is it? Thx!
