Q: Good day, I read Peter's recent article in the National Post regarding Small Cap stocks and would agree with his prognosis. That said which Small Cap stocks are on his radar.
Q: Good looking Q1 earnings report from Gatekeeper Systems (GSI) this morning, the stock is up 20% today, and has tripled since the bottom in April. Is this becoming a more consistent, investable stock (for high risk portion of a portfolio)? What do you think of this stock as a small long term investment?
Q: Good Morning,
Of the two stocks listed above, which do you see having the best total return in the next 3-5 year, and a brief explanation of your reasoning.
Thank you,
Q: I know, another uranium question. A couple of questions, first is do you have a prediction for the spot price of uranium and a possible timeline (it was was close to 140 back in 2007) are we going to see that again or even higher? Won't uranium producers start producing more uranium as of now a bring on more supply and affect the market(how long does that take?)
I own URC can you please let me know if a swap into another uranium stock would be a better one or is it fine to hold and is NXE or CCO your favourite based on your previous answers?
COSA resources has captured my eye because of insider buying can you please comment on that
and finally could you please rank these uranium stocks in order of favourite to least to do well if spot price continues upward, wouldn't small caps have the biggest upside compared to the likes of NXE and Cameco?
Stocks to rank Stallion Resources(STUD), Strathmore Plus(SUU), Cosa resources(COSA), district metals (DMX), F3 Uranium(FUU), Purepoint (PTU), Baseload Energy (FIND), Standard Uranium (STND) , Uranium Royalty Corp(URC), Cameco (CCO), Denison mines(DML), Energy Fuels (UUUU), NexGen(NXE)
I hold ZSP in my non-registered account and VIG in my RRSP.
My understanding is that it doesn't really make a difference from a withholding tax perspective where I hold ZSP but that the RRSP is where I should hold VIG.
Q: Hello 5I Team
Please provide me with your top 5 stocks from your portfolios that will benefit from the AI technology in the future.( not 5 stocks from each)
Thanks for your great service.
Q: Portfolio Analytics indicates that across all accounts, we are underweight in the Basic Materials sector. The two stocks and CGL.C listed above are the only holdings in this sector. (CGL.C is a small holding. as it can be traded with zero commission)
Please suggest some additional Canadian and U.S. stocks in this sector to improve diversification, include reasonable entry points, and rank them in order of what to purchase first.
Q: St. Joe apparently has tens of thousands of acres of land free and clear, ready for development in NW Florida that are valued at 20,000 an acre but the market value is more like 2,000,000 an acre. Is the stock trading at current levels hugely undervalued or have I missed something. Thanks for your help
Q: It's been a while since we asked about SLP. Share price is largely sideways for the past year. What is your assessment of SLP and are we buyers here? I see a debt free company with next year sales and EPS growth of 12% and 21% and average price target ~40% higher than it is now.
What does the market not like?
I'm looking to add a new industrial and BYD and SLP are being considered. Where does your money go?
Q: Hi, looking to invest 70,000 in two etf’s one Canada one U.S in a rrsp. (or two U.S. etf’s as I have no U.S holding yet)
Two suggestions that are a conservative sleep at night, and longer term hold, with a 2+% dividend.
Also would like to have if possible a balanced sector allocation. I already have lots of financial and oil- gas stocks, which is heavy in Canada.
Hope this makes sense?
Thanks
Q: Looking to add 1 of above etf to my tfsa for a 3 to 4 year hold would you please analyze and compare. Which would you recommend? Is there a tax implication to consider? Thank you.
Q: hi,
thank you for, and this question is in reference to, the answer to the "baby Mag 7" question a few days ago by "JR". are you able to do a short analysis of these 7, compared to the "adult" Mag 7 in regards current and future valuation, growth, debt/equity metrics. further, do you have any guess on the timeline of googl/meta etc.'s development/utilization of their own AI chips in house?
take as many points off as needed, this question seems like a bad homework assignment to me!
thanks Chris
Q: Can I ask why you may think there is such a high short position in CELH? The thought of good results and a short squeeze is exciting but there is also the thought that they know something the we don't. Thoughts?
Thank you
Q: Hi, I'm still down about 57% in Nuvei and haven't realized much of any January bounce in CTS. I'm considering a consolidation of these two into my existing VRT stake . For a one year hold, could you give me your thoughts and how you would rank these three based on potential SP appreciation. Thanks.
Q: "As reported by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, approximately 76% of business owners are anticipated to transition out of their businesses in the next decade. This could result in over $2 trillion in business assets changing hands, presenting a substantial opportunity for growth and yield in the sector."
Do you have any suggestions of companies that may benefit if this in fact is an upcoming trend?
