Q: It appears the $1.65/share takeover by Norgine is set for Sept 30, 2017. Between now an then do you see any other upside above $1.65? I read at Pharmpro.com, 'The Arrangement Agreement includes a non-solicitation covenant on the part of Merus, subject to customary "fiduciary out" provisions that entitle Merus to consider and accept unsolicited superior proposals and a right in favour of Norgine to match any superior proposal....'
Q: So I sold my nvda under $100 because there was so much talk of it being overvalued. Now it is flying like a rocket. Debating if I should get back in. Is the rocket flying of nvda justified or it will come crashing down just as fast?
Q: What is going on with AIM? Is it a good buy? How much of their revenue comes from their Air Canada partnership? What I am reading is they have $2.75/share in cash, does this make it a good buy on sale today with the price in the $3-4 range this morning?
Q: I am concerned about my allocations to the banking sector. TD accounts for 16% of my portfolio and BAC/WFC combination 7%. All shares were purchased during the financial crisis and I have done extremely well with that move. With TD's US exposure I could pare BAC/WFC or reduce TD or continue to hold them? All shares are in RIFs. I am a conservative investor. Dividend income is good.
Q: Would appreciate your views on the latest results from Napec. Nice to see them swing back to a profit and they also had a significant increase in their backlog. The market seems to agree and the stock is being rewarded.
Q: "oK" is not exactly a ringing endorsement for SLF. Is there another name in the space, other than MFC, that you think is a better hold for a conservative investor, or should I just hang in there? thanks,
Q: Noting they just reported a decent quarter. I've been holding for 24+ months hoping for a rebound. I know their fortunes are highly correlated to oil industry overall, but what are your thoughts on the company overall and its ability to survive.
Q: Hey Peter and Co.:
I own the following stocks:
BNS, CCL.B, CNR, CGX, CSU, KXS, GUD, MG, MX, NFI, PPL, PBH, SIS, TOY, SJ, T, WSP, ZCL, VET, BCE, ENGH, TD.
I'm looking for a growth stock to add to my TFSA. I bought SIS for my TFSA last year and it's gone up nearly 100%, so thank you for that! What would you recommend here?
Thanks for all of your great advice over the years. cheers
Andy
