Q: Thank you team for all the great insight into companies I have invested well since joining 5i Research. Would appreciate your thoughts on cargo jet CJT and if it would be suitable for a long time hold.
Q: This company price is heading lower yet their earnings are almost $10.00 for the year .they do not seem to have the same problems as Home capital. What is your opinion on this stock.
Q: Your thoughts on Cineplex earnings. Is it a hold for long term.
Q: HiPeter, what is your opinion of Brookfield Global Listed Infrastructure Income Fund Inc., (INF)for retirees? There is not much information on this fund on the financial websites. Is this a new fund or has it existed for some time?
Q: Do you have a view on Metro's acquisition of a prepared food delivery company today?
Q: Would you revise your opinion of this etf? On October 3, 2016, 5i wrote, "We note that 15 years ago the share price was more than $26, and capital distributions will continually lower NAV over time."
While share price is still only $17, it is paying nearly 10% dividend consistently since 1999 and the share price has increased 40% since the advice was given. I like that it holds mainly U.S. banks. Thank you for your opinion.

Q: I bought some JTR (<1% position) due to its sector and the profit margin looked interesting. I am now down 16% on this..is there any merit in holding on...better prospects in horizon? Also this is in a margin account...therefore I am paying interest..Thanks for your guidance. Shyam

Q: HI 5iResearch, Kinaxis postponed their Investor Conference call to August 8, 2017 to report 2nd quarter earnings to June 30, 2017. Do you know what the 2nd quarter earnings were, and would the valuation today provide a good opportunity to purchase this stock for 3-5 year hold? What do you think of long term prospects vs competitors and ease of access into supply chain management?
Q: In your response to Stephen you state that ZWH in a RRSP incurs a non-recoverable US withholding tax on the dividend - I hold ZWH in a RRSP and receive $0.095/share/month, the same amount as stated on the BMO website. Am I missing something here?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: I'm curious about the recent stock option grant approval (> 3 mil shares @.36) for OG employees and how that might influence the stock price in the short term? Yesterday it dropped down to .335, I assume on this news. I think it a positive move for staff to feel invested in the growth and evolution of this young company. Just curious about how that might affect stock prices in the short term and any other thoughts you have about this organization?
Q: What are your thoughts on precision drilling as a 2 to 3 year time horizon trade at these prices. Thanks Steve

Q: Hi Peter and Staff
I know you do not generally favour averaging down. If I was to top up one of the 3 below to small weighting ignoring sector allocation, please rank them, best to worst to average down on at present
Thanks for all you do

Q: I am looking for 3 or 4 Canadian dividend paying stocks to add to my portfolio. What are today's picks for safe, rising dividends, and fairly priced stocks of solid companies? My portfolio is well balanced, so sector is not important.
Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and Team,
I'd like to deploy the funds from the recent sale of TNC. (Thank you!) I'm presently underweight in these sectors: Financial, Industrial, Information Technology, and Utilities. At this point in the economic cycle, what would be the most compelling sector? What would your top picks in this sector be if you were a buyer today? Thanks as always.

Q: Dear 5i
I currently own Dynamic Active Core Bond Private Pool DYN3900 as part of my portfolio with my previous financial planner as part of my fixed income .
I`m thinking of selling it in favour of CLF,CBO,CPD and XHY as recommended by 5i.
Do you see this as a good move or do you see any compelling reason for keeping it ?
Thanks
Bill C.

Q: Hello Peter.......... I have a question about 1228
Could you please comment on Gluskin Sheff about it's suitability for a 2% position in an retirement income portfolio. I have larger positions in BNS, and in CM.
Is the payout ratio reasonable and is the dividend sustainable and do they carry a lot of debt?
It doesn't seem to have done anything except drift further down since the legal settlement and you had said you expected a pop of as much as $3 or $4! Am I missing something?
Are there other Financials that you would prefer with similar dividends? How about Olympia OLY, or TF?
Thank you............. Paul K
