Q: Any company trading for below cash in the bank at the moment? Canada preferably.

Q: In attempting to assess the performance of my (mainly 5i) portfolios, how dividend %ages determined? In other words, do I divide dividend $ by the "book cost" of a portfolio or by the "market value" ?

Q: I haven't kept up with news in Brookfield Renewable but see it has really declined. I had been looking for an entry point. Is this it? Yield seems great and it is very oversold. Was there a reason for the decline? Is now a good time to start a position? I Have a 5% weighting in AQN presently.

Q: Hi 5i. What is your thoughts about today's news, the acquisition of Dealermine by Quorum. They say the acquisition is acretive right away and it doubles the size of Quorum to a revenue base in excess of C$25 million, the majority of which is recurring SaaS revenue.

Q: I would like to buy eiher ATD.b or PKI. Which would you suggest for a better investment, and growth in the next few years.

I meant to ask this a while ago but it slipped my mind. I saw a reference to an article that I believe you wrote a few weeks ago in either the G&M or Financial Post. I could not locate the article. It was called SOCKS, a Cdn equivalent to FAANG. Would you have a link to that article?

Q: I purchased Boyd a couple months ago at the top of the chart. It has been all weakness since and is down ~$10. Is there any reason to get out of it now based on the weakness? Did I just time it wrong? Or, alternatively, should I be adding more at these levels?

I'm looking at sectors, both Cdn and US as I have a lot of cash to redeploy as the market gets stronger, hopefully over the coming weeks or months. REITs are something I've been considering and I'm wondering about the effects of rising interest rates on them in general. Are REITs that are based on residential rentals better than REITs based on commercial properties? What about REITs for industrial properties vs commercial? Or would it be best to just steer clear of this sector until interest rates stop rising? I am retired and count on my investments to generate income, but am also lucky enough to be able to handle risk and I am very adamant about maintaining stops to protect capital and profits.

I have a question regarding tsgi. You guys have followed tsgi/amaya for quite some time with good success. Last quarter they guided lower and the market responded accordingly. Do you foresee them guiding lower again? Has there been any occurrences in their history where they guided lower but surprised to the upside? My gut tells me they were conservative in their last outlook. Comments? What is the street consensus?
