Q: I have held Summit for a bit over a year and been happy with it - but - this is the third equity offering in 12 months, which is becoming rather frustrating. Does this seem excessive for a company of this size and in this sector? Could you comment on their debt, payout, this latest offering and the company in general? I hold it mainly for sector exposure and income.
Thank-you

Q: Hi 5i,
My income portfolio is light on consumer discretionaries. What would be a good stock or two that would compliment my current holding in that space - CGX.

Looking for a bit of growth and income growth.

Q: I wish to reposition some of my energy producers in my portfolio. With strengthening commodity prices can you you please identify,in order,5 Canadian producers you would hold for future appreciation. My preference is that they pay a dividend but if you think price appreciation would exceed current dividend yield, then please include.
If not considering dividends, what are your top 5.

Q: A follow up question, thanks. According to the conf call, as of the end of NOvember the company will have 4000 patients connected representing 200,000.00 U.S. per month and by December month end will have 6000 connected= 300,000.00 U.S. per month. The break even is approx. 250,000.00 CDN per month. Would this traction bring forward your thinking of an initial position on the company?
Cheers!!

Q: In regards to Austins question, the two split shares above will quit paying a dividend on the common shares when the Nav for the common shares plus the preferred drops below $15.00.you can keep track of the Nav on their website.Dgs has been by far my best income stock, buying in for an average $6.94,gives me an annual return of 17.3% on original purchase.Present Nav. is $17.30 according to Brompton's
website.DFN pays a lower dividend, but has a bigger cushion in it's NAV.I think these are excellent vehicle for income as long as you keep track of the NAV value!!

Q: Good Morning,
Napec received a takeover offer yesterday @ $1.95/share. The stock is trading at or slightly above the proposed takeover price. Do you have any comments or thoughts. Would you advise selling shares now or waiting to see if a competing bid comes in.
Thanks,
Philip
