Q: I want to sell ECN with 5 percent loss to buy either Tsgi or Cov in my TFSA, which one you prefer better for long term?your thoughts please, thanks

Q: I am thinking of buying some altagas. I have a very astute investor friend who thinks it is a great time to buy because it got beat up too much over the WGL acquisition, has a lot of upside and pays a nice dividend while you wait. What is your opinion ?

Q: I own both Eci and Bip.un in a registered account.
I am curious how you see the shares of Bip.un reacting to the tender. Will this not be diluting Bip.un shares forcing them lower. Would it be wise to sell and repurchase later or purchase another company you recommend.( please give examples)

Q: I currently own TOY (my only holding for Cyclical Consumer). I did have MG but sold it. I am wondering for a RRSP with a long time frame which 2-3 stocks of the list BCI, DOL, DOO. GSY, CCL.B. AW.UN which be best as I am trying to increase my holdings in this sector.

Can you go over what a current investor should know such as last QTR results, buyout at 19$.

What do you believe could happen if buyout at 19 does not go through?

Q: Recently there have been discussions regarding a change from quarterly to semi-annual reporting. Do you have an opinion on a change of this magnitude. What affects, both positive and negative, might this have on investors, both small and large?

Q: What do you think about a young investor (aged 25) starting to invest for their retirement future by investing in TD e-series mutual funds, specifically the Cdn Index (TDB900) and the DJIA (TDB903 or TDB953)? For the DJIA would you recommend TDB903 which is in Cdn $ or TDB953 which is in US $?

Q: For safety's sake I believe you recommend not allocating more than 5% to any individual stock in the event it went poorly. What about an ETF such as XTR for the fixed income portion of a portfolio - would 5% still hold as a maximum? If it is higher what percentage would you be comfortable with?

Q: The last 5i question on Ligand Pharma was 2014 so I thought I would ask your current opinion of it,with the understanding the US is not your area of focus

Q: Hi team,
I notice you listed TTD as one of your top current U.S. buys in a recent Q&A and I saw it again in Peter’s column in the Financial Post. It seems like you have turned very positive on it. I have been in it for about 6 months but trimmed back before the last earnings which turned out to be a blowout quarter. You just never know with tech earnings. It is now around $125. I am thinking of topping up again.

In the past, you seemed concerned that one of the big U.S. tech guys could easily get into the digital programmatic advertising space where TTD operates. How come no on has and TDD continues to just sail along? Aren’t GOOG, FB, and others concerned about the inroads made by TTD? Could it be a buyout target of one of the big guys?

Q: Do you have any concerns with Cormarks downgrade of Great Canadian Gaming? I hold the position that GC has good management that would analyze all scenarios before making decisions on the GTA bundle or any other investment. The share performance over the last 5 years speaks for itself and I see the dip as a buying opportunity for long term shareholders.

Q: Is there any reason why Cormark has just cut the tarteg for GC from $49 to $44 this
morning?
