Q: Hello Team,
I've been patient and I was looking for a chance to grab Uni Select shares at a good price. I am happy to have waited so far since the price of the share dropped more than 13% following today's earnings,
What is your advice (grab some share, let the dust settle...) following today's drop in price.

Thank you for the good advice!
Michel

Q: I manage my own RRSP portfolio which is in the 7 figures. It is made up primarily of micro and small cap stocks. I spend on average about an hour a day doing research and placing purchase and sale orders. Does this time spent seem typical for anyone who wants to do a proper job managing their own money and hoping to do better than ETFs or mutual funds?

Q: Hey 5i Team,
I know you don't focus on the US but I wondered if you had any insight into the complicated "buyout" Albertsons is trying to do. I own a full stock position and wondered if you would just wait it out till sales goes thru or hold long term. Just seems especially complicated being that Albertsons is private and trying to go public thru buying rite aid.
Thanks

Q: I am thinking about switching from Alta-Gas to Innergex for a 3% position and taking a reduction in yield. 5 to 10 years holding time. The 2017 INE results were out late today. In looking them over I see significant improvement in revenues and adjusted EBITDA as well as a drop in the payout ratio due to an improvement in free cash flow. The dividend was increased modestly by 3%. However, earnings were down substantially.
Power generation was down due to lower flow volumes in BC and lower than average winds in France.
Would the anticipated rate increases be discounted in the current price in your opinion?
Do you think this is a reasonable switch at this time? Also, in your opinion is there anything in the 2017 results that would be a major red flag for you that I might be missing?
Thanks as always,
Rob

Q: If my broker went on national tv and picked 3 index stocks I would immediately move my money.
I can pay 0.03 and get the same results.
Most of the guests on BNN are scared to stray from index.
Your group is not.
I read all of the questions and answers.
I learn something new everyday.
Thank you,

Q: I am retired and my portfolio is defensive with an emphasis on income. I bought KBL in 2012 at 29.12 based on your research. I sold off some in 2016 to rebalance my portfolio. While I have done very well overall with this stock, its performance over the last two years has been poor and I am considering eliminating it from my portfolio. Should I reconsider? I don't mind being patient but do not want to wait and watch any holding become a long term yield trap.

Q: Hello Peter and Team,

Thanks for another year of market out performance.

I am thinking of cleaning up both RRX and HWO (which are in an non-registered account) and taking the capital losses, and consolidating the money in WCP. Can you give me the pros and cons of this switch?

Thanks for all you do.

Wes
