Q: Is the current drop in the price of VB what you would consider "normal" volatility for such a stock, or is there something else going on?

Q: Hello 5i,
I currently have $25,000 invested in several dripped TD E funds for my two grandchildren ages 6 and 9. Progress seems slow. Should I just leave things alone or should I replace this with VDY and CDZ? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Q: In the event that inflation "gets ahead of itself" and rates have to rise to faster than expected would gold be a good hold? I have a small 1.5% position in FNV and am thinking to adding or would you go with GLD. The charts and management of FNV are excellent.

Q: Good morning Peter and Team,
In your answer to Shyam, you wrote: "In these situations, we prefer to sell the under-performing names and buy those that are performing."
In the case of KBL which is held in my wife's TFSA and in my RRIF, we are still in the black, but it has declined a lot lately, would this be a good candidate to sell from the TFSA since it's become a rather mediocre income stock?
If it is sold, what "growthier" stock in
(a) the Industrial sector might make a good replacement?
(b) any sector might make a good replacement?
Thanks for your insight.

Thanks again for all your help.

Q: Hi 5i team!
My companies DB plan allows us to invest in about 12 different funds (not great I know). There is no way to leave some of the funds as cash - personally I believe we are going to see a major correction or 2 over the next 1-2 years - would leaving some of my funds in a bond fund be somewhat equivalent? I was thinking of leaving up to 25% so that I can redistribute into the other funds if/when the correction really happens.
Thanks,
Sean.
