Q: Well announced today that Circle’s growth continues to be excellent and possibly accelerating. The last thing I would think of doing is selling that business if I owned part of it. They talk about unlocking shareholder value. I would prefer they buy more of Circle. Never mind selling there piece.
What are your thoughts on this.

Q: I bought FLUT shares when they listed in the US thinking they have strength in being the largest international company in sports gambling. Worried to hear recently that they might IPO FanDuel independently from FAN and thus potentially split the interest amongst 2 stock choices and dilute the FAN price. Notes from today’s strong earnings report stated that ‘ Jackson (CEO) said he had no plans to rename the company FanDuel or pursue an initial public offering of that business, something he once considered’. If that statement can be taken on face value, do you see FAN as being more attractive previous to the earnings and that revised strategy?

Q: Royal Bank seems to significantly outperforming the other canadian banks and I'm asking why? If I want to hold a canadian bank, should it be RBC or another bank?

Q: While I have enjoyed a nice return with LAS.a, my question is what’s the rational for keeping this a public company. The volume is nonexistent and they don’t seem to need the market to access capital. I’m not holding with the assumption that it goes private but it would obviously be a nice payday.

Q: The auto industry backdrop and Linamar. I can understand that the EV scene is mixed, perhaps at best; there are re-charging issues as well as some fire risk associated with Lithium, and that Chinese subsidized imports are a potential problem, but my reading was that our industries here, MG, LNR, and MRE, were largely agnostic to the potential EV problems. In addition my most recent related reading was that Linamar has diversified at least in part into agricultural machinery, which would be an addition to their initial skyjack venture, and that while the US Fed had postponed rate reductions the US economy continues to bubble along, albeit at a slightly lower rate than hoped, but is OK. So what have I missed? Is Lithium a bust? How serious are the range/ recharging/ fire issues? A PE of 5 or 6 is for the birds.

Q: MCK had a significant pullback after it reported. Please comment on the results. Do you think the pullback was warranted or was it overdone?
