Q: Alberta oil-sands companies are ramping up their output to prepare to fill the expanded TransMountain export pipeline. Seems this should open up good investment opportunities. Can you suggest any stocks to consider?

Q: Cameco, Denison, and Mega Uranium are really ripping today on good volume. The charts look good in my view, these names have moved up steadily for quite a while now. News now out that the worlds largest producer Kazatomprom has a large shortfall in supply. I just took a meaningful position in Denison Mines. I vividly recall the uranium mania that took hold in 2007 prior to fukishama and the parabolic movements that took place in the stock charts with respect to uranium.
What do you believe are the similarities/differences re: events that shaped the frenzy in 2007 versus the excitement today about these names. Could these names have similar parabolic moves in your opinion ?

- Merck & Company Inc. (MRK)
- Vanguard Health Care ETF (VHT)
- WELL Health Technologies Corp. (WELL)

- Lantheus Holdings Inc. (LNTH)
Q: I am looking for new healthcare stocks after selling Lantheus and InMode in the last 6 months. I currently own WELL. Quite a few have had a good run up lately so not sure if they are good buys at current valuations. What are recommendations? US or CAD, doesn’t matter. Should I buy an ETF instead?
Thank you in advance

Q: Could I please get your updated view on Century Communities. I note that there are 2 holds and 1 sell by analysts, and the stock has been showing some weakness. Should I hold or sell.
Thank you.
Thank you.
- Rogers Communications Inc. Class B Non-voting Shares (RCI.B)
- Cogeco Communications Inc. Subordinate Voting Shares (CCA)
- Cogeco Inc. Subordinate Voting Shares (CGO)
Q: Hi Team,
Would you choose Rogers or Cogeco to get exposure to the wireless sector?
I would lean towards CCA due to CDPQ "partnership" that could limit the drawdown in my opinion and the high leverage of Rogers.
Second question ? Would you prefer CGO vs CCA to get exposure to Cogeco and why?
Thank you !
Michel

Q: Hi,
Was looking at these two mid cap ETF's and noticed that for VO, the market cap of companies that it holds is a lot higher than the companies held in IJH. I would have thought that mid cap companies are usually around $2-15B. Many of the VO companies are >$40B, whereas the IJH companies are <$20B. Why the large difference in market cap between these two ETF's? What is the average mkt cap of holdings for each ETF? And would you be indifferent between IJH and VO? Thanks!

Q: I'm down about 20% or so on this one. I know you're against averaging down, from what I've read, but do you see long term (5+ years) value at these prices?
Q: Hi Peter, can I get your view on QEC and any reason for the up tick today. Is there hope for this company. Thanks, Nick

Q: Hi team,
In your reply to Ric this morning, you provided an interesting list of Canadian agressive growth stocks.
Could you provide a list of aggressive US growth stocks ?
Gratefully,

Q: CSU ROIC was 28.8% in 2020 and has been dropping each year since to 17.93 in 2022 and 14.15% TTM, is this something to be concerned about?
Q: What is keeping TOU at these prices? I would like to buy some shares but can't see its value at present gas prices. Is it that we are presently experiencing winter in North America. Should one chase the price or wait for a pull back? At what price would 5i feel is a good entry?
Thank you
Thank you
Q: How things change, 6 months ago or the past year, so many questions on where to deposit money for a 4% yield, than the market goes up nicely and no more questions on money markets. Now i suppose those that missed out are now trying to catch up at higher stock prices. Once Again buy good stocks with earnings and stay invested.
- Purpose High Interest Savings Fund (PSA)
- CI High Interest Savings ETF (CSAV)
- Global X High Interest Savings ETF (CASH)
Q: Hello, the distribution paid by these ETFs is starting to come down, even before the new rules becoming effective Jan 31th. Distributions will also follow the BoC rate when it starts going down as well. What would happen if shareholders start selling PSA, CSAV or CASH en masse? Is there some sort of marketmaker for these ETFs that, no matter what, will keep the share price close to NAV? Thanks.
Q: Hello 5i, Could you comment on if POW has a position in ATD and if so what is the size of the position. Also is ATD active in Europe?
Q: Is Microstrategy a buy based on their current bitcoin holdings at the current bit coin price of approx. 44000. What is the outlook of their overall business, cash flow, and future earnings excluding bitcoin. Thanks so much for your analysis.
Q: Just a follow up question. If I decide to sell NBLY now, could you recommend 5 of your favorite stocks to replace it in my TSFA?
Thanks
Dave.
Thanks
Dave.
Q: Your views on its high TTM P/E ration of 224. Is it normal of this kind of high P/E in Insurance sector?
Thanks
Thanks

Q: Hi 5i team,
I am wondering if we should switch from the Canadian to the US spot Bitcoin ETFs, which have lower fees and higher liquidity. The US ETFs charge as low as low as 0.20%, while the Canadian ones charge around 0.88%. The US ETFs also have more trading volume and assets than the Canadian ones.
However, moving to the US ETFs would also involve some costs and risks, such as currency conversion, tax implications, and exchange rate fluctuations. It might also be too early to judge the performance of the US ETFs, as they are very new.
Please share your thoughts.
Best,
Matt
