Q: LLY stock price is struggling lately. Do you have insight to the reasons for the drop? I am interested in a purchase but would like to avoid catching a falling knife. I would appreciate your insight. Thanks you.
Q: Hello5i, Could you comment on the takeover of MDF by KKR also could there be a rival offer. I own MDF and am considering selling MDF.
Q: Hi, You did not answer the second part of my question.
Would you prefer to own one over the other? If so which one? Thanks

Q: I recently bought some IBIT shares and since the purchase my Portfolio Analysis summary has gone wonky. In the detail section for IBIT percentages; Asset Class: Fixed Income: 3055.98%, Diversified: -93.07%. Cash: -421.34%, Equity: -2441.58%. Geography and Sector breakdowns are also all over the place. Needless to say the summary of my portfolio is unreliable. Can this be fixed?
Q: Can you comment on this stock. Is it a buy, sell or hold? Thanks
Q: Certainly! I apologize for the oversight. Here’s the revised version of your message:
Hello. I currently hold a small amount of Palantir stock in my RRSP. After initially experiencing a loss, it has now rebounded with an 11% gain. I’m curious about the future prospects of this stock. Should I consider selling it or holding onto it. Thanks.

Q: Since last your last report on AW.UN about a year ago, what has changed if anything in your view on this company? Debt still appears to be under control. Valuation I think is a bit better. What are your greatest concerns / company risks going forward? Same store sales?
Q: Good morning,
Do you consider DRX a good long-term investment at this stage?

Q: If interest rates are poised to come down, do you see an opportunity for some short to medium term gains with bonds? If so, would the sweet spot be with short, medium, or long term bonds? Are there any bond ETFs that you could suggest?
Q: Can I have your analysis please, thanks.
Q: I know you are not a fan of covered call ETF's and I know why. I have used some of these short term for yield when I feel the underlying securities are fully valued and I am just looking for yield. My question is on a yield of say 8% where the underlying dividend is say 4% and the premium is 4% who keeps giving up this premium? There is a lot of money in these covered call ETF's now and I don't know who can keep losing money on covered calls to provide this income premium.
Q: Did you learned anything new at the conference call? Still skeptical about their forecasts?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: On March 4 you wrote, "We do like the outlook for REITs and think that as rates stabilize and even decline, the sector should benefit. Out of the two REITs mentioned we like XRE better due to the bigger size and slightly lower expense ratio."
On January 12 you wrote, "HCRE is an equal-weight REIT ETF, which has a small AUM of $48.3M, a relatively low MER of 0.33%, and a yield of 5.9%.
ZRE is also an equal-weight REIT ETF, but has a much larger AUM of $583.7M, an MER of 0.61%, and a yield of 5.1%. XRE is not equal-weight, has a large AUM of $1.0B, a yield of 5.4%, and an MER of 0.61%.
ZRE has outperformed XRE over a long period of time, and thus we like the equal-weight approach."
Can you please clarify your preference for either XRE or ZRE and the main reason for that preference? I gather your preference is for ZRE given it is part of one of your portfolios. It is just that your March 4 response has led me to wonder.
Thanks as always for your expertise.

Q: I held equal positions in Crwd Ftnt and Panw. Last week I trimmed 1/3 of my Crwd at 363 when it bounced up for a large gain. Crwd has dropped back a bit to the 320s. I am thinking of selling my Panw at a small gain and buying back my Crwd and adding to Ftnt.
What do you think of this plan? I appreciate all your good advice.
Thanks Peter
