Q: Was considering a position in Equinix. I’ve read that the company lowered it’s Adjusted Funds From Operations (AFFO). Would you say this is reflected in the stocks chart. I understand that AFFO is typically used for Reits. Would you look at Equinix as a tech stock or a reit? Would it be a good time to buy, do you think they have a good future, do they have a good moat?

Q: Hi folks

Most recent edition of the altantic suggests that Disney is going to initiate 'disneyflix' and basically have all thier titles available for immediate streaming

The kicker being they would also add new content as it becomes available (Star Wars black panther etc)

There would be no delay in release and 'opening weekend' box office would be a thing of the past

They essentially are blowing up the cinema business for the long term 'annuity type' revenue of the Netflix model

Curious your thoughts and If thier Is any value ciniplex's real estate or other assets

Time to cut and run me thinks

Q: Of my bond holdings representing 5% of my portfolio and want to increase to 10%; I'm wondering if anyone listed that I should eliminate/increase in this market environment. Would appreciate any other suggestions. Thanks.

WWE recent increased 28% in three days due to new deal with FOX: buy more, sell or hold
OXY: buy to replace EQNR-Equinor ADR (New name of STATOIL) - we bought in November(up over 35%) in our US- RRSP account. Reason for switch for same growth, OXY has no dividend tax withholding and lesser currency fluctuation.
RMBS-Rambus: buy, hold or sell.

Q: I recently asked: "f had $500,000 invested in the Income Portfolio balanced exactly as it was in 2017, how much money would I have earned in 2017?"

Your answer was "The income portfolio returned 9.28% in 2017; so $500,000 at the start of the year would have earned $46,400. Note our portfolio returns do not include commission, so your actual return would be slightly less than this depending on your commission charges to buy/sell.'

y follow up question- Does that figure of $46,400 include the dividend pay out, or just the appreciation of the portfolio?
