Q: I admit that I have not read many investment reports on this company and Constellation Brands has their reasons for their recent purchase . Given that, I suggest that by any metric/measure/ fundamental analysis these shares are way overpriced. For my mind, the only ( in bold) reason to purchase these shares is to join the momentum party. That is never a good reason to buy shares of a company. That is just gambling, not investing and I do not think it has a place in a serious successful investor's portfolio. Even so called pros get burned by these types of buys ( think Nortel, Bre-Ex to name just two of many many such companies).

Q: Hi,

In a diversified portfolio, what is a prudent allocation to REITs? If I wanted to be more aggressive, what would be the maximum exposure you would recommend? Finally, is it okay to focus this exposure on what sector in the REIT space, i.e. multi-family properties?

Thank you,
Jason

Q: Hi Peter and Staff
I know you are not as familiar with the US. A family member is thinking of a small investment in his portfolio of ARNA Arena Pharma in the US.
Would you be able to give some comments on your thoughts and whether for a younger person not risk adverse how far devoting a half position to this company would be any wiser than a casino visit?
Thanks and have a great day
Dennis

Q: Hi 5i,
If one was concerned about inflation, it has been suggested that real return bonds could be something to consider investing in.
What is your opinion of these as an inflation protection? Do you currently have a view on where inflation is headed?
I have listed a couple of ETF's I might consider. Can I get your view and the pros and cons of each please?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Dan

Q: You have repeatedly recommended PBH, TSGI and PHO in your portfolios, so I am interested at starting positions in PBH and TSGI, and adding to my existing position in PHO.
While I like that they have all come down in price, I am hesitant to buy because you recommend buying into positive momentum not negative.
I use stockcharts for my evaluations before I buy so my question is: How would you determine when to enter a stock showing negative momentum using technicals? Do you wait until it crosses the xx day ema, MACD crosses positive, RSI above 50, etc.?
