Q: Do you have any updates on Maxar? I heard someone mention accounting irregularities on BNN (perhaps the person is shorting the stock?). The stock price doesn't seem to want to stop going down. However, with my luck, once I sell MAXR the stock price will jump higher.

Thank you
Thank you
Q: I would appreciate it if you could comment on the recently released Q2 results. It looked like it was a slight beat on revenue although today's market reaction is negative (mind you, the entire sector is down).
Q: Not sure if zlb should still be in my porfolio, since its underperforming. Would i be better off to just put the money in vanguard canadian index vcn if i have a longer term view of the market 20 years out.
Q: Which of the two stocks - L or PBH - is preferable for a long-term hold, with the lower risk? Thank you.
Q: In light of recent quarter results, would you hold or sell and reinvest elsewhere. If so, what would you prefer in consumer discretionary - NKE looks interesting long-term, but is expensive.
Thx

Q: Hello and Greetings,
Globe and Mail - Aug 28th 2018.
DR makes it on the Top 20 SHORTED companies for August.
"....stocks targeted by short sellers under-perform on average"
My question: So why did DR Just hit 52 week high?
What are we to think ? Should we treat short selling as "noise" or does it herald a medium / longer term decline?
Cheers

Q: I am retired, live on income from investments which is sufficient for my needs and carry enough capital losses from past sins so I do not have to worry much about taxes on capital gains for a few years. I assume Return on Capital is essentially a capital gain.
I have assumed that keeping growth companies in my registered accounts therefore is the wrong way to do it as I lose the capital gains advantage. I therefore only put the fixed income (interest) investments in my RRSP. As many REITs and other .UN investments have sometimes a large RoC portion, it is also a mistake for me to keep them in an RRSP. Am I making sense?

Q: Since buying COV, I've started receiving regular emails such as these 2 yesterday:
"Covalon Announces Another Milestone Quarterly Profit on Excellent Third Quarter Financial Results"
"Covalon's excellent earnings listed on Globe and Mail small cap movers list"
I have never received these types of emails on this regular of a basis from other companies that I own. Should I be concerned about the promotional nature here?

Q: I invested in iRobot a few months ago at about $82 as a play in AI for my RRSP, planning on just sitting on it for years. It soon dropped into the $60's but I held on, and in the past couple of weeks it's been gaining day over day, now up over $115. Is there a valid reason for the quick rise in price? Or, should I be concerned that there is hype involved, and take some gains. You assessment please! Thanks, Kim
Q: Can I please have your one year price target on PBH, SIS, and KXS? Thanks.
Q: Please comment on the earning of BOX inc.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Hi Team,
Given BIP is a Bermuda-based limited partnership with income from many jurisdictions do you know if for tax purposes it would be better placed in an RRSP account vs. a TFSA account (both in US dollars to collect the US dividend).
Thank you.
Michael

Q: I find the company information that you added recently to be very useful in my analysis, however sometimes information that was there is no longer available. For example when I previously looked at ATD.B the site contained information on analysts projected earnings and projected share prices. Today the earnings estimates are not available and the stock price estimates have been replaced by measures of analysts buy conviction. Is this a temporary change until information is available? Also do you have an estimate for the forward earnings?
Thanks.
Mike
Thanks.

Q: Hey guys,
I am a big believer in a healthy corporate culture being one of the keys to running a successful business long term. Having strong leadership, as well as a desire by employees to come to work and be proud of being part of the company, and a management team that is focused on the long term and not quarterly results or analyst expectations.
Do you know any canadian companies that meet or exceed this criteria?
Thank you

Q: Transitioning my mutual funds to a self managed ETF portfolio of near equal weighting of ve, vee, spy,vig and iwo for all USA and international exposure. I am due for another block of buying. Which of the 5 above would be best to add now. VE and VEE are down so average out my loss? On weighting I was due to add mostly VEE and IWO. Just starting the transition so can add pretty much any of them.
