Q: I've held ALA for many years. Unfortunately I didn't get rid of it when they bought WGL. My question is about the % of revenue (or net income) that is expected from "utilities" and "energy infrastructure". Before the take over, they were about 60% energy infrastructure and 40% utilities. I can't find any information on the the proportions going forward.
Many thanks!

Q: My question is to do with more general knowledge of the products available, especially in some ETF's. My question is regarding Hedged to Canadian ETFs. When they say "Hedged", does that mean the Canadian Dollar is Hedged to the US $ in both directions, up and down? In effect, does the Canadian dollar become a US $? We would then not get the benefit from a Canadian $ that is dropping in relation to the US$, nor would a rise in the Canadian $ in relation to the US$ hurt us?

I hope you understand my meaning in this question and I thank you for your answer.

Q: Hi, if I bought and held U.S. preferred shares in an RRSP would there be any US taxes payable including U.S. withholding taxes. Would it be best to hold these in my U.S. $ RRSP account.

Q: Unfortunately, I doubled down on SIS, COV, TSGI and KXS. KXS is the only one where I am basically even. The others have magnified my losses. I run out of patience and sold TSGI a month ago. I like the US stocks that you like and am doing well with them. TTD over the last 2 days has gone between a low of $145 to a high of $165. Do you of any reason why? Thanks, Dennis

Q: Good Morning
Raymond James lowered their IPL target to $20 from $23 today with an underperform rating. The Street target is $25.
Do you foresee another fiasco with a substantial dividend cut like we saw with Alberta Gas? Would you recommend holding the stock or selling?
Thanks
