Q: When it comes to how liquid a stock or ETF is on a daily basis, what would you suggest is the minimum amount trading you would like to see if you were to buy?. I have a couple of different accounts that I use different strategies and one of my thoughts is if you had a sizeable position in and etf or stock that trades under 10k or 100k a day would this not be of great risk if a person needed to get out of it in a timely fashion due to market conditions or personal need? Some examples of securities I am looking at or own are PBH, XTR, XTC, VFV. I am well diversified with my investments and typically look to buy and hold just wanting some input on this topic. Thanks keep up the great work

Q: Hi 51 Team
I am currently way over weight with pwf and gwo aprox 25% of 660k portfolio.
. What would you recommend to diversify. I am close to retiring and would like to replace it with reasonable income. Or should i just hold.
Thank You
Mike

Q: In response to the question about GICs through TD Waterhouse. Under the research tab, click on GICs. That will bring up a list of those available. from TDW. You can't buy them online yourself though. There's a number you can call to order them.( The rates are not quite as good as those directly through the issuer.)
Q: Hi team,
I have been holding PLI for quite a while and I was down 50% as of a few days ago. They've been surging in the last couple of days and now I'm only down 38%. Is this the time to get rid of it or do you think there's a reason to hold on. Is there any news as to why they are moving up?
Thanks

Q: I hold AOS in a registered account with a 15% loss. Should I take the loss and move on to another stock? I have a decent position in Xylem so the water exposure is not critical.

Q: Hi Guys.
I have owned High Liner for quite a while and am fine waiting through their hopefully successful turnaround. With the earnings report today I thought the stock would fall but it is up 3 % today. I saw this statement in the earnings release and it seems to suggest the dividend will be cut:
Dividend & Capital Structure
"Today, the Board of Directors of the Company approved a quarterly dividend of CAD$0.145 per share on the Company's common shares payable on March 15, 2019 to holders of record on March 1, 2019. The Board is continuing to review the Company's capital structure to determine the prudent use of capital and will provide an update when the Company reports its financial results for the first quarter of 2019 in May."
What do you think people saw positive in the earning release? Any idea of what the dividend payout ratio is, and whether it is safe?
Love your service
Stuart

Q: What do you think of JWEL's latest Fourth Quarter and full year 2018 results - would you buy at these levels. I bought it when it first went public - like the China exposure and the recent partnership with atop pharmacy chain in India - also their quality control is known for being very high as well - was thinking of adding more at these prices.
Q: Thoughts on recent results? Good growth story ahead or too much risk?
Q: After market closed on Feb 25,announced acquisition of Schille corp.Just reported results that show that both eps & revenue beat estimates.Your take on these 2 items Thanks for u usual great services & views
Q: Comments please on Box’s recent quarter. Small miss on revenue but EPS beat not received well in after hours trading. Would you keep? Or can you suggest a better alternative?
Thank you
Thank you
Q: Thoughts on earnings? How would you exit this stock if you owned a 2% position? How would you exit any stock knowing after hours the stock is down 20% and is no longer something you want to be invested in? Does one wait a few days? A market sell order and hope for the best? Sell at 10:30am when there is a rebound?
I think Box has too much competition and losing ground especially compared to Microsoft and Google's products. Best case is this company is sold but I'm not one to hold onto a stock with the hopes for a buyout.

Q: Would you please further explain how advisors are incented to sell products (funds)?
On April or, 2017, in a reply to Bruce, you stated: "HWF is a new closed end fund, which did its IPO in October last year and the indicated yield is 5.1%. In our opinion, this fund was designed to sell, with high commissions to advisors." Generally, what kind of fees/commissions do advisors receive that many retail investors may not be aware of? And does this also apply to pushing/selling certain stocks, like new (share) issues?
