Q: Hi, wrt Q&A on 'Asked by Wes on October 25, 2018', can you pls add this stock to your db/coverage. I did a 'Company' search and it was not in the db. I'd like to see/review their 'key ratios' that you provide.
Further, they had continued good growth in their 3rd quarter results ie Record Revenue and Net Income, can you comment further on this please? Similar results were seen for the 1st and 2nd quarters as well but the stock has lost a bit of ground in the last 1-3 months. ...though still up on the year. Could just be profit taking?
Would it be ideal to take an initial 1/3 position in this stock at this time? Or does it just warrant a watch during the current (market) downtrend?

Thanks,
Steve

Q: I sold Trevali mining and other speculative companies in my TFSA like . Blackbird energy. Sold some of my Gold cos as well.

I am looking for non- dividend paying, growth oriented, momentum driven (yes, even in this awful stock melt down climate!) Canadian companies which are not expensive to buy. 5 to 10 bucks? Willing to accept risk and can hold on to them for 3 years at least. I have GUD, ECN.
Thank you.

Q: Mullen Group reported results today and they are what they are. I watched the CEO on BNN today and did not find his interview “warm and fuzzy”. Actually I found he was bitter and he blamed the government and economic influences beyond his control for the company results. I came away thinking if the CEO doesn’t think positively of the future then it’s time to exit my holdings and move on.
Am I way off the mark? Would appreciate your advice.
Thanks John

Q: Both stocks down after earnings. How do the results look to you?

I find it odd that Amazon can earn $2.88 billion or $5.75 per share which is over 80% higher than estimates of $3.14 per share, but sales were $500 million lower then estimates ($56.6 billion vs $57.1 billion)... less then 1% miss... with concerns over high valuations in tech stocks, Amazon in particular trading at a high P/E ratio, to crush earnings and go down seems like an overeaction.

Q: According to Bank of America while individual investors are still buying stocks, institutional investors are selling. Is that a bearish sign ? Typically professionals exit the market before a major downturn and retail investors as always late in the game throw their money into the market at a wrong time. What are you thoughts on this?
I have recently bought SIS, PBH and other 5i BE stocks. I had placed some stink bids with my buy price atleast 10% below the price about a month ago and all those transactions went through to my surprise. The stocks are still falling further. I know for long term investment one should not worry about 10-20% fall in good companies but are institutions selling the companies followed by 5i portfolios and may be they are waiting to come back in at a much better pricing in near future ?

Thanks for the great service as always

Q: Hi 5i
I wasn't available for the webinar.
Is there any intention of providing a link to it to view/download ?
Thanks

Q: I sold both WEF and TSGI for tax losses. I can get back into them Oct.31. They've both been going straight down and I'm thinking they may go lower because of others doing tax loss selling. Do you still think they're worth getting back into and would the end of December be a better time to buy them?
