Q: I much appreciate the US market maps that finviz.com provides, with its various options and details. Finviz does provide a small market map of the Canadian market, but it lacks relevant detail. Is there a site that provides more fine-grained maps of the Canadian markets? There is a Canadian one at https://stockcharts.com/freecharts/carpet.html?[TSX], but it lacks much detail. Thank you.

Q: Good Morning 5i

Can you confirm % of WEED owned by Institutions/Funds? How has that changed in the last month? What percent is owned by insiders? What percentage is owned/controlled by Constellation (both owned and warrants)?

Therefore what percentage of total shares are available for retail trade? What effect could that have on future SP growth? I'm trying to understand how so many shares being already committed or tied up lends itself to increased likelihood of SP to increase in 2018.

Thanks for any comments.

Q: Hi Peter and Staff
I have suffered as have many with losses in this sector( most of which I have crystallized. I still own HWO, SES and CEU. Assuming I want to stay in the sector would you replace any of the above with either
TCW, SHLE or STEP.
Your opinion and supporting rationale is appreciated. Please dock my questions as you see fit
Thanks for all you do

Q: Hi 5i,
I know that speculating on takeovers is not something you advocate but do you think Covalon may be heading for a buyout? The recently announced licensing agreement with “a large global medical company” reminds me of the deal that Pure signed with Xylem, leading to the takeout of Pure less than a year (I think) later. It looks like a ‘test drive’ of marketing COV’s product and services suite. If the larger company becomes convinced it can sell the product, preserve the margins, and scale that across a larger market, a buyout is a likely next step, isn’t it? Plus, the described global medical company is presumably not Canada-based. For a non-Canadian acquirer, the perceived Saudi-Canada relations risk would likely be a non-issue. Thanks!

Q: I currently hold shares in GC, TSGI, TSG US (TSGI), & WEED.
Do u feel GC, TSGI & TSG are good long term holds?
Would you take profits in WEED using charts (trade the ups and downs) or just let it run and take profits when?
Tks.

Q: I want to invest in the Cdn and US Tech sector, however I don't want to purchase stocks using US currency. I would like to have exposure to both US and Cdn Tech companies via the TSX. What do you suggest?

Thanks

Q: Hello 5i Team. My understanding is that there are 2 significant issues here. US tariffs, and recent miss on performance. I've just recently started managing my own rsp, I'm finding mg to be the toughest decision I've had to make so far. I read that the stock could drop by as much as 30% if the tariffs go through. I've read mostly positive feedback from 5i on MG. Can you help quantify the risk over the next 2 months to a year?
Thanks

Q: Hello. One ENF share is being offered as 0.729 of an Enbridge share (ENB today at $47.12). ENF price should be 0.7029 x$47.12=$33.12 as to the agreement. ENF is now $33.95. Why is ENF trading so much higher than the conversion rate (2.5% higher)? Is there a reason behind it? Is it because ENF has a higher monthly dividend? Also do you have an idea of the exact date ENF will be converted into ENB shares? Thanks as always.
