Q: Hello 5i team
Chrystal ball gazing time again. I am thinking of selling transcontinental for a tax loss. I just bought it seems strange to be selling it. I have a feeling that it won't move much until the next quarterly report, if at all. would you agree that it is relativly safe to sell and buy bak at a similat price in 30 days? i would wait a bit, though, to see if it bounces up a bit in the next week or two, as it has been heavily sold and could be in for at least a little bounce.
thanks for all the help.

Q: Hello Peter,
Namaste seems to follow the Amazon model and if they get the medical sales license, they could do quite well given their international exposure. Signing a deal with Tilray was a good endorsement;however, it is unclear at this point, what really transpired that would cause Tilray to cancel the agreement. I have not seen any official release from either company other than the Quebec newspaper article. The stock is down quite a bit. What should one do in this case? If the agreement is truly cancelled, should one sell or hang on as the overall model looks good. My concern is could the perception of the company be ruined and hence investor perception? Thanks

Q: Hi Guys,

I mentioned to a friend of mine about your great service as he complained how his mutual funds have gone nowhere in the last 5 years with all the fees. He has signed up for your service and was wondering how would be the best way to utilize your service, he is 50 year old business owner and busy being a soccer Dad, should he divide his money in your 3 portfolios or simply look to go for a 60/40 split with 60 in your balanced portfolio and 40 in bonds. He did mention he had an interest in ETF, any thoughts how he can put his money to work over the next year. Thanks Anthony

Q: What would happen if there is an economic downturn or recession and people lose jobs and there are high non-performing loans at Goeasy.
Does the company have a hold on the asset being financed ? Does defaulting on Goeasy loan have a strong impact on individual credit scores ? Im wondering if Goeasy will have a huge NPL or face something similar to sub-prime crisis because they are one of the few players in a market which is not serviced by banks but more by pay day loans and credit cards.

Q: Pls disregard my previous question - here goes again.
I would like your advice on simplifying our IT sector holdings. My sector allocation is currently 16% and willing to go to 20%
VISA, SQ and PPYL have been placed in Financials [would have brought total allocation to 22% if included in IT].
GIB at 20% [of 16% total] is largest followed by SHOP at 12%. Next category between 5-10% are CSU, MSFT, SPOT, SSTI, TTD, ARKW, TD Science & Technology Fund, DOCU. Others at <5% [initial positions] are NVDA, KXS, NXPI, BOX, IQ, MU.
All are up except for MU. Pls advise which to discard, which to add to and any others that could provide growth on your "favorites" list.
Much appreciated
Sam
