Q: Hi, In addition to reason cited for recent spike in stock price, per your response to John's question, Sylogist was also upgraded by Cormark (the only brokerage covering this co.) on Sep 18 to Top Pick from Buy and price target raised to $18 from $16. The analyst also raised the full year EPS forecast to $0.50 for FY2019 and $0.62 for FY2020. Thanks

Q: I need to raise a bit of cash, and would like to take it from the Tech Sector which is a 23% weighting in my portfolio. I have 9 tech stocks in total. The top 4 largest holdings (approx 15% each of my tech holdings but none of them exceed 5% of my total portfolio) are KXS, OTEX, SHOP , SYZ.
Any thoughts on which one(s?) would, at this time, be best to trim ?
As always, thanks for being there !

Q: Hi Peter and Staff

I have had several energy “related “ stocks over the years , most have left a sour taste - In my “basket “ representing a small % of my portfolio I still have HWO, SES, CEU and TDW . If I add PSI I will drop one of the above . Please deduct credits as you see for but with some detail tell me which one versus the others
Thanks for all you do
Dennis

Q: Hi 5i Team,
My question is about how to invest in commodities as a buy and hold retail investor. I read in Tony Robbin's book about Ray Dalio's all weather portfolio that it allocates 7.5% to commodities and 7.5% to precious metals. These two asset classes are supposed to protect a portfolio from accelerated inflation. Is this statement accurate?

Thanks for your great service.
Regards,
Danny

Q: The above listed companies have (I think) been recommended by you over the last year as small caps with growth potential. All are down in the dumps at the moment and I am wondering which, if any, would you now recommend for growth over the short term (one year)
