Q: Just like to bring to the attention of Sam who was asking about TDB220. Discount brokers now have a D series for many of the mutual funds. This series is for the self directed investors with lower fees. For example TDB220 has a D series equivalent (TDB3011) with MER of 1.66%. Still too high but better than 2.4%.

Q: the above Company is another (one of many) that have hit the market that are engaged in the marijuana industry. I think it was originally offered at 13 cents and is now trading at 90 cents. I know you are not fans of the marijuana stocks but do you have an opinion of the future prospects for this company.

Q: For the past few years I've successful played a strategy for the big 6 Canadian banks. Each year I hold two banks. About this time each year I sell them and buy the 2 with the lowest P/E. The rationale is that the lower P/E banks revert to the mean. I've come across RBNK that has a similar yet a bit more diverse strategy. They look at higher yield vs my strategy of lower P/E, but they seem fairly well aligned. RBNK holds all 6 as follows: 1/4 weighting for the 2 highest dividends (BNS,CM) right now, 1/6 weighting for the next two highest yielders (RY, NA) and 1/12 weighting for the lowest yielders (TD,BMO) It's an inexpensive MER. What are your thoughts?

Q: Hi Ryan As a long term holder of VET the stock has a hard time generating a growth return.
I understand the huge discount on Can oil as part of the reason ,what I cant understand why the market gives no credit for VET,s foreign holdings not subject to the WCS discount.
My thinking is to exit and sit on cash till this political crap settles out.
Kind Regards
Stan
