Q: I have some US funds I'd like to put to work in one or two of the mentioned names taking them from a half weight to a full 5% position. Regardless of sector weightings, which 2 do you like the most at current market valuations for capital appreciation over the next 5 to 8 years in a growth oriented portfolio? Thanks!

Q: I am a long term holder of CGX (retired, diversified portfolio, like the monthly dividend). I have caught the falling knife a few times on this one, as I expect a number of others have as well. The diversification story is supposedly a 2019-2020 event, but until that kicks in, we are for the most part at the mercy of the proverbial "movie slate". Now that the current new movies have hit the theatres over the Christmas period, I am wondering whether this new batch (Aquaman, Mary Poppins, etc) can be considered a strong slate or not? How do the box office numbers look and what do you think the impact might be on the next quarter or two for CGX? At a 7+% dividend, I am ok with that plus a little bit of rebound growth. I have some further top-up money set aside that could be deployed towards CGX and elsewhere. Your thoughts? Thanks...Steve

Q: May I have your opinion about the latest news, The Score launching a Mobile Sportsbook. Do you think they will expand into other States? Do you think this makes them a better take out candidate for companies such as TSGI.TO, GC.TO, etc.? I feel like there has been a lot of consolidation in this space. Thank you for your opinion.

Q: In an earlier question I think I said that Vanguard is not offering VOO but VIG in its place. In case this may consuse anyone I thought I should correct it:

“We believe the Total Stock Market Index Fund VTSMX, -1.60% VTI, +0.02% VTSAX, -1.59% is the best proxy for the U.S. market, offering exposure to large-, mid-, and small-cap stocks, whereas Vanguard Institutional Index Fund concentrates on large-cap stocks,” a spokeswoman told MarketWatch in an email

Q: WTO is under $50 US and were in tax loss season. Now that blood is in the streets I'd like to add some energy names to a non- registered income portfolio. I'm looking for names that have SECURE dividends above 5% and liquidity as well as some growth prospects. Can you provide me with your 3 top picks in this space?. I should mention I already own ENB.
Thank You.
