Q: Your recent comments on DOO:
We think DOO is still good. Solid earnings growth is still expected, and at only 12X earnings investors are not expecting much. As rates rose investors shied away from the stock, but as rates peak (as long as jobs remain strong) we would expect confidence to return here. It has beaten estimates 8 quarters in a row and the last quarter's EPS beat by 6%.

My question:
Your comments don't suggest that the company has done anything wrong (quite the opposite really) and yet the stock has gone down by 50%. Unlike KXS, NFI, SIS, TSGI and others that had announcements that drove significant temporary declines, I can't see anything like that here. Is this stock therefore not being punished unfairly and ripe for rebound? To what do you attribute the wholesale abandonment of the stock? It would not seem that such strong selling pressure is warranted. What is the case against buying vs FOR buying?

Q: I manage a portfolio for my mother and I am looking for an investment which will NOT generate any income (Interest or Dividends). This will be about 20% of her portfolio and reside in a non Registered account. I have come up with the two ETF's above to provide diversification in both CA and US. Would there be better alternatives I could consider in individual stocks or other ETF's. All other investment's are in TFSA and RRIF accounts and she will never need the capital. So this is a long term investment.

Q: Can you provide an update on RHT? It seems to have found a technical bottom since november and has made 3 successive higher lows as it moves up and down. What are the fundamentals like? How much of the fundamental strength that you initially saw still exists? Is this a dead (patient home monitoring type) company or just one that you lost patience with and could/should still go. I admit not to have looked into them beyond your recommendation so a summary of their potential catalysts and pitfalls over the next year would be amazing. Take a couple credits if needed to provide a full and thorough answer please.

Thanks

Q: to what extent should novice investors use price alerts or price targets to monitor their holdings? It's kind of like asking when to sell?

Q: Can you expand more on your most recent answer regarding AYX. "Some analysts believe it has a unique solution with little real competition, which of course we like. "

What exactly do they do? what solution are you referring to? 6 questions/answers only showing for on this company (as you noted it hasnt been public for long), 5 in the last month, 5i seems quite "bullish" on the stock so I am very intrigued. Thank you!

Q: I realize I am veering off course here, but would appreciate if you could rate the following US stocks from a growth perspective. The time frame would be 5 to 8 years - best to worst. Feel free to add if you wish. Thank you.

Q: I've held ALA for many years. Unfortunately I didn't get rid of it when they bought WGL. My question is about the % of revenue (or net income) that is expected from "utilities" and "energy infrastructure". Before the take over, they were about 60% energy infrastructure and 40% utilities. I can't find any information on the the proportions going forward.
Many thanks!
