Q: I have been watching ESI as part of my speculative portfolio. The ~8% div yield is currently unsustainable based on current earnings yet their acquisition of Trinidad at 40% of its value is somewhat compelling for future appreciation. They have indicated their plan to reduce debt and clean their financial statements yet, while the sector is negative, your opinion would be appreciated. Thank you!

Q: How does the Interest rates NOT increasing anymore according to U.S. and Bank of Canada affect the utility and financial sectors. How much volatility should I expect in these sectors over the remainder of 2019.

Q: Hello. My question is about the market value of ETF's. How does the market value relate to the NAV? Does the M.V. get adjusted to the total NAV of the underlying stocks? And if yes, how often does the revaluation happen. Basically, when I purchase an ETF, am I paying an amount (MV) that that might be higher than the underlying NAV of the ETF?

Thank you.

Q: InPortfolio analytics, with the addition of the value of a defined benefit pension(roughly $80,000/yr becomes $2,000,000 in value), you add this value to the fixed income part of the portfolio. I know it's a difficult thing to calculate, but these pensions all invest in various forms of investments including equity, so some of your fixed income is already ion equity but not shown in your analysis.
Cheers, and thanks for every thing you provide us in a difficult investment world.

Q: Hi Team
I am looking for oil companies to invest in, I would like a mid to small cap, company with reasonable debt and fairly decent cash flow. I don't mind taken higher risk with small caps, I just feel that it gives me a better upside, and like I say I don't mind the risk. Would like a little in the oil sands as I see the wti discount is a lot lower than before and have read that the world refineries are short of the heavy oil, not sure if this is true or not. Lastly what gas producers will benefit from the new pipe line and refinery, assuming that the darn thing gets build. I know I have asked a few questions so please take as many credits as you like
Thank-you
