Q: Hello
What do you think about PIMCO's BOND ETF? With the bond King no longer at the helm, has this damaged the support for fund. BOND
I have some USD cash and would like to buy something a bit safer than equities.
Thank you.

Q: Hi Guys,
Pengrowth Energy -
1. Announced Strategic Review
2. Lenders extended credit to Sept 2019
3. Seymour Schulich still accumulating shares as of March 2019 (most at higher prices than current and now owns ~30% of the company)
4. Rising oil prices over the last couple months.
Can I get your thoughts on all of the above?
It seems many have come to the conclusion that bankruptcy is in the future, however, I have my doubts as I would think Mr. Schulich would be well aware of these chances and would not have continued accumulating shares.. Also, could the recent uptick in oil prices be the saving grace for this company?
Please deduct as many credits as necessary to answer.
Cheers,
Dean

Q: 7:10 AM 4/11/2019
When I search the BIP.UN website I find:
"Specified Foreign Property
For the purpose of reporting foreign property by Canadian investors, pursuant to section 233.3 of the Canadian Income Tax Act, Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. is not a specified foreign property and therefore does not need to be reported on Form T1135 - Foreign Income Verification Statement."
However when I search the BEP.UN website I find no comparable statement. But I get a statement from TDWaterhouse Wealth to the effect that BEP.UN IS a foreign property.
Does this mean that BEP.UN needs to be reported as foreign ownership or is BEP.UN just like BIP.UN and TD has made a mistake?
Thank you....... Paul K

Q: Hi 5i! Although TSGI has somewhat stabilized in a 21$-25$ range, short interest almost doubled in march, from 4M to almost 8M at the end of the month. Also, the daily order book is constantly showing selling pressure and/or weak buying, with the number of sell orders being 3x the buy orders. I would appreciate your thoughts on this situation.
Thanks and have a good weekend!

Q: Any thoughts on this one - i am looking for relatively safe dividend income utility play in the US. I am trying to understand how the fund pays such a high dividend when the underlying assets do not. Can you explain. It certainly has been a consistent payer over a long period of time.
Thanks
