Q: What is 5i's opinion on Quorum Information Tech.'s Q2 results. Looks like a beat on all analyst coverage metrics. These seems like a very compelling micro cap investment given their growth, profitability and that 90% of revenues are recurring or locked in. Your thoughts on this investment as the market cap grows?

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.
Q: To my earlier question about the stock price of SIS plummeting, you had mentioned that it is related to "company specific issue"? Can you please throw more light on that issue, which, most of the investors are not aware ?
Q: Hi Peter and team. I want to say great work thank you so much for your service. Questor is taking their time on quarterly results when they issue their results can you please comment. Thanks again, your advice sure does pay for itself.
Q: I would appreciate your comments on the 2nd quarter results released today.
Q: I own shares of MX and down significantly on this stock. From what I understand, a big part of the drop can be attributed to largest shareholder M&G Investments selling 3% of company shares in August - here is their letter to MX shareholders: https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/m-amp-g-investments-sends-letter-to-methanex-shareholders-868146646.html
What do you think of this situation? Would you recommend MX as a 3-5 years hold or should I sell and take a loss?

Q: The only one I've owned and still do in this group is SLF - been a great investment over last 10 years +. I was thinking of buying MFC for my wife's portfolio since she does not have an insurance company. MFC's balance sheet looks great: very little debt., low pay-out ratio (lots of room to increase dividends). The stock seems to languish - low interest rate environment, I guess? Do you like this one for the long haul??
Q: Can you provide 2 or 3 top picks at the moment for Canadian dividend stocks?
Q: With the recent share offering SAP has sold off. Would you view this as a good entry point or would you see this as dead money?
Thanks as always.
Ian

Q: Steinberg offers 2 "funds"; an international equity and a junk bond fund paying a 6% distribution. I like the idea that the equity fund can hold a large cash balance at times compared to other equity funds that must stay invested at all times. Do you have any opinion on each of these funds suitability for a balanced investor looking for a combination of income and growth? Let's say a 50-50 exposure to each.
Q: Gentlemen, good morning
From G&M “Purpose Investments Inc. launched the first corporate-class series of ETFs in Canada in 2013, and today about half of its funds use this structure, including its flagship equity fund, Purpose Core Dividend Fund.”
Can you please named the others tax efficient ETF from Purpose ?
Thanks Regards

Q: Hi 5i team, do you have any advice if US China trade war escalating ? Which Canadian sectors will be less damaging and which sectors will be affected most?
Q: Hi Guys
can you shed some light on Alaris Royalty. With their partners being unable to seek financing through the normal channels with interest rates this low , how are they going to succeed in such a competitive world with the high rates Alaris must be charging them?
thanks Gordie

Q: Has this company begun a breakout... ie has it attained a tipping point in its path of aquisitions so it is being reflected in a positive trend in the price. Or is it still a waiting game?
Q: Hi there,
Your take on Cisco please? It was a top pick last night with the following comments:
"It represents the future of 5G. It is going to be transformational. New management is going to do extremely well here. (Analysts’ price target is $54.04)"
Do you like this? Is it a buy and why?

Q: Hi 5i
Both Rogers and Telus seem to be on downward trends recently. Do you have any explanation why and should a current shareholder be overly concerned. Would you be sellers, buyers or holders at current levels?
Thx

Q: For those who enjoy podcasts there is an excellent one on NPR How I Built This dated August 4. My wife and I listened to it on a long car drive and said she finally understands it.
Q: I am curious about Capstone Infrastructure CSE-A on the TSX, or as CSE-PA.TO on Yahoo. It has a 6.31% yield yet there are no questions on this company and I have never seen it mentioned. Please give us some background and information on the company's financial stability, security of dividend, debt levels, and payout ratio, etc. Would you consider it investable and are there other utilities with near comparable yields that you might prefer
Thank you............ Paul K
