Q: What is your opinion on this one? I have been in it for awhile in an RRSp account with a long term horizon. Do you think this company could turn the corner or even get bought by a bigger firm like LNR or MG?
Q: Hi Peter,
Is there any growth potential for ISV? It seems to trade in a rather narrow range. Should I sell and move on?
Thanks for your advice.

Q: Looking back two years KXS has been a good trading stock, not so good for buy and hold, I've held a core position and have done well trading some. Technically the chart is scaring me and am thinking my trading portion should be dumped?
Q: I've read that total market ETF's such as ITOT include a component of unprofitable small caps that can cause a drag on performance. It was recommended instead to go with an S&P 500 ETF suchs as VOO, and supplement this with a mid/small cap ETF that follows an index that screens out low profitability, such as IJS or IUSV. What's your opinion of this strategy?
Q: Good morning...any recommendations for companies exploring meatless products...similar to Beyond Meats....A&W selling out of the product a very good (early) sign...Canadian or International...on your radar..
Q: Hi Peter, www.bloomberg.com/amp/news/articles/2019-03-11/goldman-s-apple-card-said-to-land-big-win-for-tiny-georgia-firm is this company worth investing in? Thanks.
Based on JMIA's run after their recent IPO, there seems to be a perception that they are on the same path as AMZN. What are your thoughts? Is this a good time to buy, lots of momentum behind this company.
Q: I have both APHA and OGI. Given the recent drop of APHA and OGI and the short term concensus for APHA, do you think there would be any benefit to selling off APHA and replace it with more OGI since it seems the belief now is that the entire sector got hit because of APHA results?? Would OGI be in a better position to make up the loss than APHA would be??
Q: I have never owned Apple. Being on my list for a very long time. I own some of their products and wouldn’t use any other. But this purchase interest is less about their hardware and more about their future in services.
Would you buy? Insight please.
Thx,
Larry
Q: Yesterday you recommended this company as one of your top midcap industrials in the US. I'm trying to get a handle on why. Not just for this company but as a way of deciding among various factors in making purchases. For example, the Stockcalc report on it says it's 21.6% overvalued. Thompson Reuters report rates it a 4/10. It has a P/E of 41 with a 7% growth rate. On the other hand, this stock has risen 8% in the last week and 15% in the last month so clearly a number of people think it has very good prospects. Why?
Q: Hi Peter and Ryan,
We received the last portion of our funds in cash from Sun Life today. We are a little hesitant to open new equity positions or foray into bonds. The stock analysis highlights that we need to add REITS but that sector seems to be under pressure this week. The risk and payback seems unbalanced everywhere we look today.
As we are into our early 60's we have given thought to placing 40% of our portfolio that arrived as cash into a temporary safe place. If you were to choose today which ETF's are recommended out of CMR, XFR, HFR to place funds for deployment at a later date.
Cheers
Jerry and Debbie
Q: I know you have responded to questions about this company in early March. Given the current price decline and 5% dividend would you consider it a reasonable buy for income and longer term share price increase? As you now they have paid a special dividend from time to time.
Q: TOY AND SIS although down I believe there is a good hope of recovering,do you agree?
Are there any other stocks in similar situation and need patience
Q: What is 5i thoughts about Destiny Media's Q2 results (they report in $US)? Management says that Q2 results only reflect part of the new contract win with Universal Music as its impact begin mid quarter. For a smaller company they have a very strong balance sheet.
