Q: Most of my investments (90% of my portfolio) are in Balanced Income mutual funds. I made my first investments in the market (10% of my portfolio) about 1 year ago and have made reasonable returns on these investments. I have approximately $200k in cash to invest in the market. I have a couple of questions:
1. Should I invest all the cash in the market or should I keep some cash to invest if there is a downturn in the market? If I should keep some cash, what percentage should be kept in cash?
2. Should I do a lump sum purchase of stocks or should I dollar-cost average the purchase of stocks? If I should dollar-cost average, over what period of time should I purchase stocks?
Thank you very much.

Q: Do you think Sasol is a good candidate for tax loss selling? It seems to be the worst of my holdings in a beaten down sector.
Q: How is the 5i Portfolio Tracking and Analysis will adjust for the split 2 for 1? Will one have to correct the amount manually?

Which we can buy in Canadian fund or us funds

Q: Thoughts on this company please. Apparently, they use PyroGenesis' technology to produce silicon. CEO claims that this quarter they will be producing silicon wafers for the battery industry. Apparently switching from graphite to silicon in batteries is the 'Holy Grail' as it increases capacity by 10x.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Q: Hi,
In looking at this particular Centurion ETF, I noticed there are different classes - some of which seem to have higher fees for advisors, etc. I also note that in a previous Q&A you have mentioned this is a mutual fund, as opposed to an ETF and I have been told by the person recommending it that it is a mutual fund trust, which is different - yet their explanation as to why it is different wasn't clear to me. So I am wondering what the difference is between a mutual fund trust and a mutual fund. I assume it operates somewhat like a REIT, but am not really sure. If you could clarify this and whether or not the CEN105:CA is the low fee version, available to direct investors, I would appreciate that. Also please let me know if you would recommend this, or could suggest better alternatives, I would appreciate the input.
Thanks for your continued advice, it is always appreciated.

Lightspeed Commerce Inc. Subordinate Voting Shares (LSPD)
Q: Lspd, kxs, gsy all long time holdings
Gsy hit a 52 week high last week and finally seems to be getting the recognition it deserves
Kxs keeps winning new contracts
Lspd keeps getting hammered
My question is what is going on with lspd, i get it is expensive but so is kinaxis and shop
With 190 million in cash, over 50,000 customers where do you feel support is on lspd, and shop down from 545 to 405 in 5 weeks, i want to step in on both but need some guidance. Dave
