Q: What do you think of the current situation in Chile from an investment standpoint? Some of the banks have been hit hard as has ECH, the US Chile ETF. Do you know of any Canadian ETFs with a decent Chilean concentration? Thank-you.
Q: I know this company is one of your favourites, but it just keeps going down, also plc why the big drop today.
Thanks
Peter
Thanks

Q: Brian this morning mentioned the negative momentum in PBH. Any idea why it's down about $10 the last few weeks, on no news? You tell Brian you'd be comfortable continuing to hold. Would you also be comfortable adding to an existing $95 position?
Q: Please comment on their acquisition announced this morning. Thanks.
Q: If one were interested in investing in Artificial Intelligence what might you recommend for Canada, US or abroad. More so interested "safer" stocks, as opposed to trying to hit a home run.
Thanks, Lee

Q: Cheers;
This is a follow-up to the question from Rick from the west coast.
I own some BBU.UN which has been OK but not great. I am thinking about switching it for BAM.A which yield's a bit more and has a stellar history. I'm in it for the long term. Would you approve.
Thanks for your insight.

Q: Seems like this stock has been acting very well in the last year, your opinion on it at this time.
Q: Hello 5I,
Just trying to better understand the recent shifts in the stock market sentiment here in Canada. Over the last couple of weeks, I note that safe dividend growers (mainly utilities: AQN, FTS, TRP etc.) and REITS in general are trending down. So are growth stocks such as SHOP, CSU, LSPD etc.. I also note that resource stocks are on an upswing lately. Are investors seeing an upswing in this sector or are resource so cheap that they have nowhere to go nut up?What is driving the market? Are lower interest not expected anymore here in Canada? Is the pending deal in the USA-China going to benefit resource stocks in Canada so much that we will see an uptick in inflation and an eventual rise in interest rates in Canada vs. lower interest rates in the US? I am wondering what am I missing? I know no one can read exactly what will follow, but can you help me better understand the "What and Why" of what is trending currently. Thank you!

Pengrowth Energy Corporation (PGF)
Q: The sad state of the Canadian fosil energy sector has me torn between cutting my loses and moving on ( too late for PGF....) or doubling down on a few names when things are in the dumps.... With the exception of Suncor ( dont need more and happy with it so wont sell), what do I do with my current energy holdings. Thanks to the poor recent performance they are down to about 10% of my total holdings. Dump, hold, add, or double down on these names please.
Q: Time to invest some dividends sitting around in cash. I want to top up one of these 3 holdings. Which is the best opportunity to add right now. These are my 3 smallest holdings ( PZA and MX due to drops, MAL bought a small position that has done well) so want to top one of them up.
Q: Hi, I feel like I'm light on Agriculture/Food exposure and seeking a recommendation if you think there's some good opportunities here. I have a small portion of COW but not sure if I should add or select another name to increase my exposure?

Q: Recognizing the substantial market cap differences between the much larger csu and gib.a, vs the smaller otex and dsg , in what order would you rank the four in terms of the usual metrics used for tech growth companies . I currently hold gib.a and otex and am looking to either add to existing positions or add something new. If you have another growth company in this space , pleased to hear it and why.

Q: Hi
I hold all these stocks in a non registered account, to take advantage of their dripping and tax advantages. I have the $ to buy another holding. What top 3 companies do you suggest to add to this mix for a long term hold, my goal is the highest dividend possible, with as little risk as possible. Also, do you have any issues with the compaies already held? I also have other growthier holdings in my tfsa as well as etfs for US and International exposure in my RRSP.
thank you
Michele

Q: Hello 5i team,
My 33 year old son is looking at rebalancing. He has a defined benefit pension. He would like to use VTI and VXUS for non cad exposure. What percentage would you propose for cad, Vti and Vxus? And is there any ETFs that trade in canada that you would consider replacements of those two?
Thanks for all you do!
Wes

Q: Peter,
Please provide a list of your favourite REITS for a taxable account. The main focus being on stable, increasing, sustainable payouts as opposed to a high current yield.
Thank you
