Q: What is the low down on this company? Is it a safe play, or the best way to play the marijuana legalization that is going on and continuing to occur in the US?

Q: I have a buy order for Covalon at $3.89 since Q2 2019 earnings and stock doesn't seem to be hitting below $4. If company don't see one time charges in Q3 2019, I am assuming they will be profitable. I don't want to miss this opportunity but stock over $4 seems expensive to me. Management is great since insiders hold over 50% of stock. Should I pull a trigger over $4 or wait for the price to come down? My time frame is 12 months.

Q: I have been following Eye Carrot since last six months. It got my eyes after Fabrice Taylor recommended it on BNN as a buy at around $0.27. Stock is now trading at $0.02, below it's net book value of $0.04. According to last financials, company has good cash but recent year end financials got delayed, i think, due to law suit going on between CEO not paying salary to ex CFO. Company is doing a lot of promotions of technology, but I am not sure about POs/potential revenue. I am looking to trade this super risky share since it is trading below Net Book Value, but I am concerned about bankruptcy and year end financials. What are your thoughts about it?

Q: I am continuing to take initial positions (about 1% each) in a TFSA to build a diversified set of stocks. Primary focus is income with some growth. I have a 10 year plus timeframe. Currently have SU, KXS, ENB. Looking to add either BYD.UN or BAD. Both seem solid and are close to 52 week highs. Which of these two (if either) is recommended first and why? I could possibly add the other later if it remains solid.

Thank you

Q: I have held both of these stocks for over 5 years. A&W has done well , but not Boston Pizza, I'm about 15% down of the purchase price of BPF. Do enjoy the high dividend of BPF. Both are held in a RRSP account. They are 2.25% and 1.40% of the portfolio. Trying to decide if I should sell Boston Pizza and add to A&W. or move to another stock for growth. I like to buy and hold. Any thoughts would be helpful

Q: Is there a search function or index for the Blog feature?
Specifically, I am looking for a list of Canadian companies that trade not just in Toronto but also on NYSE.

Q: I presently have U.S. cash in a savings account with no returns to speak of. Do not require this cash for at least 5 years. This cash represents the cash/fixed income of my portfolio. Would it be wise to invest in PSU.U or is there another choice available? Have you heard of BIL?
What is the rate of return, fees and risk of these funds?
