Q: With most bank results in, just waiting on TD now, and the biggest hits to earnings having been loan-loss provisions and capital markets (in the case of RY) can you see if short interest has again spiked on the backs of these earnings, or has it remained relatively flat since the famous 'big short' trader publicly shorted them in the early part of this year?

Q: Hello, Air Canada has been very strong for quite some time. AC's PE now sits at around 13X wheras US carriers are sitting ~7-8X PE. With the risk of oil prices spiking likely sitting at all time lows, the previous "highly cyclical sector" knock on the airline business, seems less of a problem. What are your thoughts on taking a position in an airline at this time? If you were to take a position, which would be your preference in order - and why?

Q: Why would it be negative for LSPD if there are takeover news on SHOP?
Q: Would appreciate it if you could comment on the latest results for Nova Leap Health. A microcap with lots of risk, however, they certainly seem to be moving in the right direction. Thanks as always.

Q: How risky an investment do you think GDI is in comparison with some of the stocks in the balanced portfolio? Would you put 1% or 5% into it?
Q: Dropped to 40% gain this year for people who bought it at the lows and not the ones that bought on 5i recommendations, who are probably 12+% down.
Q: Your metrics on this company show price to cash flow of 43.5 and price to free cash flow of -124.80. Is free cash flow net of total cap ex or net of only maintenance cap ex? Is negative free cash flow common among REITS. Is free cash flow yield not a metric used to value REITS?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Growing short interest in this REIT. Any thoughts on the business going forward?
Q: What could have possible be said in the conference call to cause a crash of the stock? This is in free fall now.
Q: In your opinion why is DOL being hit so hard today after a relatively alright quarter? Thanks
Q: This is more of a comment than a question. I too watched the interview with Bruce Flatt and walked away very impressed. I found his calm, rational demeanor to be quite encouraging. When he stated that he is more cautious now than in 2009 he said it was because they knew then they were buying assets at $.50 on the $1.00. I simply took that to mean that we are not in a recession and no such bargains exists.....which is not a bad thing. However, he is realistic enough to know that markets move up and down and when the next recession or downturn happens (whenever that may be) they have access to plenty of capital, are global in reach and have "feet on the ground" to take advantage of it. Glad you recommended it for the portfolio.

Q: I have been very fortunate to have my second 10-bagger with ARWR bought at $4 in 2017 (after some earlier losses). It has been running very well recently but is down to-day on the news that they are issuing 4m shares at $58, well below yesterdays close of $68.66. Why would they issue new shares so far below the recent market? Is there something here to worry about?
Thanks for your great service, Bob.
