Q: I have a 2% position in NTR looking over time to bump that up. Wondering about its almost 10% drop recently and with earnings release coming up, does somebody know something the rest of us do not? Would you buy now or wait for quarterly? I'm a buy and hold mid-to-large cap income investor.

Q: These 4 equities are my top 4 poor performers with a 50-57% unrealized loss. CFP is a 1% position, TSGI is 2%, WCP is 0.5%, COV also 0.5%. I am debating going to a half position on TSGI and pick up AQN. Or maybe dump TSGI all together. I'm not sure what to do with the rest to try and regain some losses here. That said, it seems COV and TSGI have potential as a long term holding but for me it would be to recover losses. Anything you guys can recommend? Thanks

Q: RBC Direct Investing has a fair value of $13.61 and a Morningstar rating of a single star.
This low rating has been reported for several months.
I would like to add to my TFSA $6,000.00, however, hesitant because of the low rating by RBC.
Would you recommend this stock at the current price or have others you would prefer. Five year hold as an investment.

Thanks for your advice.

Q: Hi,
Can you break down simply how you decide what types of stocks/holdings you recommend hold in which account (tfsa, rrsp, non registered). I am early 30s with a long term outlook on that majority of my holdings, all drips are used (including proxy's where needed) and all contribution space is filled each year in all registered accounts.

Thanks

Q: As per Steve's July 10 question on income portfolio cash position, I would like to deploy my 12% cash to increase my dividend flow. I am light on fixed income and US exposure. Please comment on buying DYN1567 or Dynamic global div. Fund for dividends and switching my VUN holding to dynamic power American growth fund. Mid 70s couple on rrifs and lower risk.
Thanks in advance,
