Q: Thanks to replying to my question.Would disclosing the information in a presentation on their site be sufficient? I also notice that in their press release of the year end numbers they state:
"The Company secured contracts in North Dakota during 2018 which resulted in moving 23% if it’s fleet from Colorado to North Dakota during the three months ended December 31, 2018. The successful award of North Dakota contracts and reallocation of rental assets to new markets support the Company’s strategy to diversify its markets and customer base. "
It is possible that management concluded that they had made sufficient disclosure with those sentences even though they did not mention that it was all to one customer. What is significant is that the % increased from 23 to 40.

Q: This is not a question about this particular company but simply an example. The notice today on earnings for Carbonite stated:
Non-GAAP EPS were $.44 above estimates for $.36
Net EPS was $.06 missing forecasts by a nickle
It goes on to talk about actual and estimated sales both on an Non-GAAP and GAAP basis.
Can you explain what the difference is between the GAAP and Non-GAAP numbers? and how Non-GAAP earnings of .$44 turn into $ .06 when shown on a NET basis and for your DIY investors, which should we pay attention to?

Q: Hi team, I have these companies in my TSFA. Can you rank these stocks based on highest potential gains (catalysts) in the next 12-24 months? They are equal weight and I will need to liquidate 50% of them within the next year or so. I know short term predictions are difficult but best guestimates are appreciated

Q: I currently hold Royal preferred RY.PR.AZ series which Royal is offering to convert to floating rate non cumulative series BA., which will pay a quarterly dividend of 2.21% over T bill rate. If the Bank of Canada decides to lower its rates, will this not affect the dividend? Should I just stay with the AZ series for another 5 yrs? They are held in a RRIF

Q: Hi, I will like to thank you for the investment service you are providing. I am learned a lot about investing in the last 2 years or so, from your answers to questions alone. It has instilled in me virtue of patience far more than I had before I started subscribing to your service.
I will like to know how IWO, a USD security in a CAD account ( a sizable position in growth model) , will work out if the CAD appreciates versus USD. Will it be OK to invest in USD securities in CAD accounts at the current exchange rates? What time horizon one should be thinking about for such a move?
Regards

Q: Hi,

So I have been investing for a couple of decades using mostly ETFs, and wanted to focus more energies on investing in 'World Dividend aristocrats' so to speak (ex-US, ex-Canada).

Something like the 'Dogs-of-the-Dow', but for the rest of the world, and maybe a list of 10 companies.

I tried to scour the internet with little luck, and short of me running a stock screener ( which I also tried to do also with little success), I would greatly appreciate if you know of an ETF or could point me along to a way of doing it...since it would need to be done annually.

Much appreciated.

Thanks.

Q: I am just starting to invest into my TFSA and will not need the assets for at least 7 to 10 years. I would like growth and can say I am a moderate risk taker. I have small positions in the four stocks and I was also contemplating a position in BCE. Would you be able to suggest at least four other stocks or etf's to diversity my account.
